Project LifeWatercolor Journal Pages, 6 x 8-Inch

I love this set - it gives so much flexibility, and you aren't bound to someone else's specific project idea. Unlike a lot of journal sets, you aren't forced to keep to Jan 1- Dec 31 of a particular year. Instead, it's a lot more like a real diary or journal. You can rearrange pages and skip months of entries if you want. The watercolor style art throughout is beautiful and tasteful, and adds a classy touch.The paper is thick and sturdy, so it doesn't tear as you flip pages, and most inks won't bleed through. Just stay away from sharpies and alcohol markers. You do need to buy a binder to put this in. I found a coordinating one from Project Life, and chose that because I like to have everything match. I imagine you can get cheaper binders from other companies. But this is one of the only things I own from PL, so I didn't look around for cheaper alternatives. I did, however, buy a few mini pocket pages so I can add my own photos and mementoes throughout.This would work great as a gift for a birthday, bridal shower or baby shower. It's tasteful and easy to personalize, and almost everyone should be able to find a use for it. It's flowery and girly, so some might find it too "feminine", but it's definitely tasteful and appropriate for both teenagers and adults.
