Fine piece of Craftsmanship. Beautiful pan. All-Clad brand Copper Core 2-qt Saucier pan with lid. The 2 internal layers of aluminum are clad between 3 stainless steel clad layers for maximum heating conductivity (dispersion) across the bottom and sides of pan. No hot-spots to burn ingredients during cooking. Wide opening with outwardly slanted and flared walls makes this pan ideal for wishing and frequent stirring. Cleans well. Recommend Bar Keepers friend ( powder) for cleaning interior of pan. If searing before adding additional ingredients, first apply thin coat of high temp coconut or vegetable oil (not a spray type) to bottom of pan AFTER pan has reached cooking temp. This will prevent severe burning and undesirable scrubbing later-on. Induction cooktop cooking with this pan is not only compatible, but may be preferred for tight control of temp for delicate sauce and ingredients. A great everyday pan for 2 people.

Got this for one single purpose.... mac & cheese cheese sauce. And it performs excellently. Far less chance of boil overs since the heat distribution is so balanced. This is an expensive pan that I would only recommend to someone who loves cooking. If your an average cook or someone who just doesn't care that much about cooking perfection, get a cheaper pot. But if you love cooking and watch hours of cooking shows on TV and Youtube than get this one. You will not be disappointed.

All the claims are true - this pan distributes heat evenly, looks great, is easy to clean and a nice middle size pan for almost any size household.

This pan is wonderful. Amazing heat distribution and it looks nice hanging up in my kitchen. I wish I had bought this pan a long time ago.

The best for sauces!!! We can use a whisk and not have to worry about burning because there are no areas that the whisk can’t get to and it heats so evenly. Hallelujah!Update: We’ve been using this pan very often for over 2 years and it still looks like new except for a little discoloration on the copper line. We use it for everything that needs a long even temperatures. No burn spots! We even use it for making hard candies. We’re now looking to buy the 5 layer skillet.

The Copper Core series is one of All-Clad's top of the line cookware products and, in my opinion, worth every penny. Yes, they are pricey but extremely high quality. The food cooks very evenly and clean up is a breeze. The are an investment that will last a lifetime. My only regret is that I didn't discover them years ago.

This pan heats up fast and evenly. I use it for everything from sauteing onions, steaming rice, browning meat, making curry, etc. It's a great all-around pot. I like the sloping edges, which makes it easier to clean, in my opinion. I didn't see any hotspots when sauteing onions. It's heavy, but I like that it feels solidly built.

Really like this beautiful little pan.Cooks well on my gas stove top.

Incredible pot that is easy to use and maintain. We like it so much that we'll be buying a second one. HOWEVER, as a minor aside, the last three major purchases from amazon.ca DID NOT give us our airmiles (although it did acknowledge the purchase with 15 welcome back airmiles). More of a concern was the three week delay in customs. Clearly these issues are not the product's fault and it won't stop me from buying more copper core.
