Parker Frontier Translucent Green Ball Point Pen & Mechanical Pencil: I received my pen and pencil set which arrived in just one day even though I ordered it with two day delivery, marvelous. The boxed set was shipped within a padded envelope that had a footprint on it, which obviously worried me. So, I opened the package with much trepidation only to find the box was in perfect condition. Whew! The pen and pencil are of good quality, but not what I thought they would be. Still, the price was right. So, I proceeded to write with the pen and, oh my, it is smooth and a pleasure with ink transferring to page with the grace of a much more expensive pen. All in all functionally and appearance-wise this is a good purchase. OK for a gift for a high school student, but I think I would go a little better for a college graduate or general gift for an adult. Construction is mostly of plastic, much of which, is a transparent green. The fourth star was definitely due to Parker's renown for excellent quality refills. I hope this review is of some help to those of you considering this product.UPDATE: I just noticed that inscribed on the mechanical pen is " Made in USA ". A pleasant surprise indeed. Worth another star.

PENCIL PEN COMBO
THIS PENCIL PEN COMBO IS PERFECT. THE PENCIL WRITES SOOOO SMOOTH YOU HAVE TO CHECK TO BE SURE ITS NOT A "PEN". AND THE PEN WRITES BEAUTIFULLY AS WELL. MY FAVORITE COLOR IS GREEN SO I REALLY LOVE THIS SET.

Good inexpensive product
Inexpensive pen and pencil set that works Parker ink is just great. Flows nicely. The mechanical pencils works no issues.

Cheap material for the price. The pen appears if it should have a heavier feel to it but it is intact quite light-weight

Great Christmas present
