Awesome noise cancellation and features, but fit doesn't work for everyone.
Pros: Exceptional noise isolation, particularly on outbound. Dedicated on/off switch. Voice command works well. Good stand-by time. Great Bluetooth compatibility. MyTalk functions work okay, although voice personalities are not stable. Very easy set-up. Reasonable price for the build quality.Cons: Fit. Fit. And, oh yes, fit. The earbuds actually direct the sound from the tiny speaker to the user's eardrum - if the angle isn't right, you can't hear your callers. Depending on the shape of the user's ear, the supplied earbuds can't create the right angle: notice how many reviewers complain that they have the volume turned to max. Also, the Jawbone supplied earbuds become more flexible as they warm up and won't hold the headset in place. The Jawbone earloops easily fall off and are uncomfortable. After a search, I bought the Jabra Eargels which - for me - hold the ICON HD in my ear and better direct the sound. I also found the GadgetBrat earhook, which works for extended (2-4 hours) wear, such as for long road trips. Without these additions, I just couldn't hear my callers and the headset wouldn't stay in place. In short, awesome features. But deduct 1 star for the poor design of the supplied ear buds and ear loops. Deduct another star for the cost and inconvenience of purchasing second party accessories to make the darn thing work.

Great for Driving. Very Good Sound Quality. Kinda Big.
Freeway Driving seems to render most headsets useless.THIS ONE WORKS EVEN ON A NOISY FREEWAY. I did a fair bit of research and read many professional and online reviews looking for a headset that would actually be intelligible to me and to the person I'm calling when I'm on the road. Mostly I use it on the road.Other headsets got good reviews, and I had tried to find a good one for my iPhone 5. They were fine for indoors and walking, but on the road, voice recognition wouldn't work and I had trouble hearing even road directions from Google Maps.THIS ONE WORKS and the sound is great. It's a cliche in headset reviews to say that the people you're talking to don't know you're on a headset and say it sounds like a regular phone. For me, this is the first headset where that has been true.FIT: Fit is always going to be a personal thing. The inside the ear springy loop silicone earpiece works for me. Others are going to need the hook (or both).I found it to be pretty comfortable, but...HEAVY AND BULKY: Compared to many headsets (most), this is thick and heavy. It's very noticeably larger and heavier than other headsets I've used. It's not a big problem, but it's not discreet. (That's why they always photograph it so you can't see the thickness)..BATTERY: I'm not a really heavy user, so I can't say much about talk time. Standby time is noticeably shorter than with other headsets I've used. I haven't measured, but I know I have to charge this significantly more often than my old headsets.BUT IT WORKS: My old headsets were smaller, lighter, more comfortable and easier to use.But they didn't work well when I needed them most. I'll take bigger, heavier, and whatnot but WORKS.

Great noise canceling, and much improved over Jawbone 2
About a month ago, my old Jawbone 2 Bluetooth headset finally died. Over the last month or so I have tried four different headsets until I finally found one that met all of my needs. I am including my brief opinions about each of them for comparison, and to hopefully help some of you narrow your selection down, if you are considering any of these.MOTOROLA H720PROS: Easy to use, flip to talk makes answering calls easy. Comfortable.CONS: Floppy feel. Noise canceling does not work very well.MOTOROLA HX550PROS: Flip to talk makes answering calls relatively easy. Its Comfortable. Noise canceling works very well while on calls.CONS: Noise canceling does not work for voice commands...so forget about using Siri while driving. The compact nature of this headset makes it more difficult to flip open than the H720.PLANTRONICS M165PROS: It looks good. Deep sleep mode means you don't need to turn it on and off every time you want to use it.CONS: Noise canceling not nearly as good as either the HX550 or any of the Jawbone headsets.JAWBONE 2:PROS: Noise canceling works very well, both for calls and voice commands.CONS: Hidden buttons are hard to use. Plastic cover over buttons eventually fatigues and cracks. Turning on headset requires holding hidden button down for three seconds, followed by another three seconds to connect to the phone, causing missed calls.JAWBONE ICON HD:PROS: Noise canceling works well, both for calls and voice commands. Single multi-function button is MUCH easier to find and use than on the Jawbone 2. Power switch is easier to use than the hidden button on the J2. Time to connect to an incoming call from power-off is about 1 second, so no more missed calls. 10 days of standby time, so probably won't turn it off anyway. "mytalk.jawbone.com" provides an easy to use interface to the headset. Downloadable voice personalities are fun. Ability to reconfigure multi-function button for volume control or enabling/disabling Noise Assassin is nice.CONS: Slightly less comfortable to wear than HX550 or M165 in-the-ear, but not bad for short duration. Would probably use over-the-ear hook for extended use.UPDATE (2/4/2014):I have been using the Jawbone Icon HD for over two months now and love it. This is the standard by which all other Bluetooth headsets should be measured. Absolutely no complaints at all...small, comfortable, easy to use, and superb noise canceling for both voice commands and phone conversations. This headset costs about twice as much as most entry level headsets, but you truly get what you pay for in this case. Many of the high-end headsets cost about twice as much as this one, and I can't imagine being any happier with them. Excellent value.
