SCARPA T4 Ski Boots

These boots fit as expected. They are a great mix between Back country ski boots and harder tele ski boots. This item was used from Moosejaw. There were some scuff on it and the liner was broken in. The liner being broken in was pretty nice, sometimes packing out a ski boot can be pretty painful, but we skipped that step here.Worked well for skinning up small hills and across flats. But stiff enough for the occasional alpine turn and repeated tele turns in hard icy snow.

The boots arrived on time and as ordered. I was wondering how they would be while touring but took them out for 2 days in Yellowstone and they were comfortable and had a high degree of control. They are a little difficult to put on like other Scarpa boots that I own.

2nd pair of scarpa's owned love these even better.

The Scarpa T4 are A great pair of boots offering comfort, warmth and good control. They were comfortable from the start. These boots are very well made and have given me many hours of back country skiing pleasure and enjoyment. I would highly recommend the Scarpa T4's.

Timely delivery, as I used them on a trip out west for some spectacular back country enjoyment for about a week. Boots performed as I expected---great!

When I first pulled them out of the box I through I made a big mistake...they are heavy and stiff. I tried them on and they didn't feel to comfortable. But I decided to take them for a spin anyway and I'm glad I did. Right from the start they felt perfect. I have them with so.e wide metal edged xc skis and I ski a lot of steep up and down hiking trails, and they work great. Fit perfect from the start and nice and warm. Not a single blister or hot spot and all day comfort. The control is great and I feel much more stabe. I also spend a lot of time pulling a chariot with my daughter and it's nice to have a bit more stability with such precious cargo. I would recommend these to anyone skiing in the backcountry.

I got these boots at REI, not via Amazon.For the previous few years, I was having a damn hard time controlling my skis - Karhu Spire BCs (with Voile 3 pin cable bindings) with my old boots, which were soft crosscountry boots. I was thinking for the longest time that maybe my skis were just too much for my skill level. I finally got around to buying some hard shell boots and it's made an incredible difference. I have control, confidence, and stability now. They're also reasonably comfortable and adjustable. Thanks for giving me my control back, Scarpa.
