Thanks to the other reviewers here I took the plunge on these and was not disappointed. Putting them together was a snap. They're nice and sturdy and have level bases which is nice. I'm sure the triangle helps with that. I use them to support my KRK Rokit 5 speakers. I had them on my desk for a while but it's really not the ideal solution. You want your monitors to be roughly at the same height as your head when sitting. You also don't want them butted up against a wall, they need some breathing room. After readjusting my room layout to pull my desk out from the wall and adding these stands in... The difference is certainly noticeable. I mainly wanted more desk room but was not anticipating such a great improvement in audio. The stereo/3d sound is way more accurate and noticeable now that I've positioned the speakers properly. Also, the sound is more true to the monitors purpose: unadulterated. Leaving them on a wooden desk often distorts the bass by causing reverberation, but while they're in the stands I don't experience this. Really happy with the purchase. One of them is leaning just slightly to the side, but I think that can be adjusted by a little man handling. Not a big problem in my book. I'd leave a star off for that, but this is not my first set of speaker stands purchase from amazon and id like more people to be aware of these as a high quality yet low cost option.

Moving up from a 5.1 to 7.1 setup for my home theater, I realized that I would need pole stands to support my surrounds. I already had a pair of old pole stands that didn't extend very high, and when they did, they were wobbly and the weight caused by the speaker on top shifted forward or backwards. I knew I would have to spend some good money to buy pole stands that were more sturdy. I first considered the Atlantic Satellite 77305018 stands that are an Amazon Best Seller for $30 less. Thing is, I figure you get what you pay for. Those stands didn't look sturdy, and some of the reviews indicated that they would probably not be. So, I went ahead and spent $30 more than I could have and ordered these JSMS70 Speaker Stands. Package arrived within two days with Prime delivery via FedEx. First thing, there are no instructions included in the box. So, really, for the first few minutes I was trying to figure out what to do next. It then seemed pretty apparent to me that all I had to do was use the included socket screwdriver tool to unscrew the long screws at either end of the pole. Using those long screws, you simply screw in the base (with washer) and then the top mounting plate. I had each stand together in about 5 minutes. I extended the pole upwards as far as it would go, securing the last notch with the included pin. The pin is a nice added touch, as it gives me assurance that the pole will never become disconnected. The speakers I was attaching were Atlantic Technology 2400SRs. They are medium size surrounds, weighing in at just under 5lbs. each. I was happy to see that the speakers, at the highest pole position, did not lean or wobble -- that is, as long as you don't bump into it. A slight touch to the pole does make it wobble somewhat, but I don't expect many people to be walking into my side or rear surrounds. The only problem I have is that the mounting plate is too large for the speakers. I know that the company probably wanted the best size plate for any size speaker, but for those that have small to medium sized speakers, the plate will somewhat overwhelm the speaker itself. In all, I am extremely happy with these stands -- so much so I am going to order another pair next month and replace the older wobbly stands I am currently using.

You will NOT find a better pair of stands than this for under $100. I spent some frustrating hours sifting through what seemed like 50+ different stands. Everything I looked at seemed to have one problem or another. Either the platform was too small, or it had design flaws, or it had terrible reviews, etc. Luckily I finally ran into these, and I made the right choice in getting them. -Well built and sturdy. You can tell just by the weight of the box that these will be solid. -Large platforms! Measures 9"x9", enough to fit larger bookshelf speakers. Platforms come with rubber attached to prevent sliding. -Easy to adjust, and you can swivel the platforms any direction you need before tightening them. -Large range of height adjustments. Perfect for setting surround speakers above you, and work equally well for front speakers which require lower heights. -Unbelievably easy to assemble. Even without instructions anyone could figure out how to get these together quickly. I'm not sure if it even came with instructions. -Triangular base design makes placement more flexible. -I am now confident my cat could jump on my surround speakers without knocking them over. CONS -I found the carpet spikes somewhat annoying to work with, but this isn't worth removing a star.

Hi, I would like to say here, that these are some awesome stands! I bought them because of the best deal being here at Amazon/DJ Tech Pro USA, and because they looked sturdy. They have a heavy enough triangular base which is perfect for most bookshelf-sized speakers/monitors. The posts are solid and don't rock much if you bump them, with the speakers on them. The 1mm or so thick rubber pads grip the bottom of the speakers well, and I haven't noticed any vibration coming from the stands when I am playing music. The other main feature that I'm impressed with is the height-adjustment notches. You have 6 holes drilled all the way thru the adjustment post, for six different heights. I have mine at the second notch from the top, for the base height of 35-1/2". A solid locking rod that goes thru the holes and locks the height of the stand in place, comes attached to the tightening knob (which further secures the top post and reduces sway/vibration) via a black strap and a ring. They're easy to setup, screw together, and then you can start enjoying your new speaker stands. The sticker brand (Ultimate) matches the X-stand I have my Korg Triton Extreme-88 resting on. I would recommend these for anyone looking for an affordable, yet very solid pair of monitor stands for their home setup.

These stands are great. They're made by Ultimate Support, so they have the same high-quality workmanship and sturdiness that you would expect from a proper Ultimate stand. Yet they are still cheaper than any of the credible alternatives I could find online. (Most places carry "On-Stage Stands" brand, which I absolutely loathe for their less-than-professional build quality.) The stands are pretty easy and simple to set up and adjust to the right height, but they are extremely sturdy and have these metal pins that you can use to make sure they stay at the right level of adjustment. The platforms have a great soft rubberized grip, so my monitors stay put even if I bump into them when trying to get into the corner of my room behind the stands. Also the platforms can rotate/swivel pretty easily, which is nice for fine-tuning the angle of the speakers, especially when I was first setting them up and needed to experiment a lot to find just the right listening sweet spot. I use Yamaha HS80M monitors with 8-inch cones, which are fairly big and are actually a little bigger than the platforms of the stands, but the stands have no problem supporting these speakers and I don't feel anxious about them falling or anything. So you don't necessarily have to have tiny near-fields to be able to use these stands. Overall, I would highly recommend these monitor stands. I don't think you could get a better deal without shelling out significantly more cash to get the actual Ultimate Support name-brand stands.

I was very eager to receive these. I've heard both bad things and good things about them. Let's start with the good: The stands look very good. Incredibly slick. Fits right at home my studio. Durable. These things aren't breaking anytime soon, and I will trust them for my expensive monitors. Works just as intended. They are just stands now. Now then... For the cons: It's almost like they're straight out of IKEA. No instructions whatsoever. I mean none. Luckily they're easy to figure out, but I was a bit daunted. IKEA does have good furniture though, and these as well are good. Shoddy finishing. Inspect the bases for jagged material. I did this quite quickly but if you're not careful these could easily sever wires and cut you if you're not ready. Not fun. The carpet spikes... Let's begin by noting that the platforms already in the bottom are rubber. And you screw them in. It's pretty stupid. I'm guessing this messed up the holes because I was unsuccessful in getting a certain spike in for my carpet. Even with vice grips it would not turn. Pretty big bummer. The lock holes. They may not have the right height for everyone. Mine aligned the tweeters perfectly to my ears. Your experience may vary depending on your setup. The verdict: I trust these to hold my monitors. After initial installation the cons don't mean much, provided you sand down any offending jagged metal. I would say they're worth the 80 dollars, but I have to give them 3 stars for an overall amateur set of mistakes. For the record, I would would buy these again.

I just bought a pair of KRK Rokit 6 G2 monitors. They are pretty large and I had them sitting on my table. Due to their size, they really eat up a lot of space on the table and I was hoping to move them to stands. Looking through the various stands available on Amazon, I was drawn to this one for its great reviews. Therefore, trusting them, I ended up purchasing this and I am very happy I did! The metallic base is incredibly wide (an equilateral triangle with 1 foot sides). This results in it being very stable as well. If you're putting this on a carpet, there are cleats included that can help to prevent the stands for tipping or moving. I found that to be a great bonus item. Moving up to the body of the stands, it's very nicely designed with an intuitive locking mechanism. There are holes drilled into the slide-able portion of the tube at various heights. An included pin is attached to the stand and "locks" into the holes allow you to lock the stand into various positions. I locked my pin in the second hole from the top of the stand to make my monitors be at head level height. Once your pin is securely locked, there is a tightening mechanism which prevents the pin from sliding out. It is your basic "twist-to-tight" mechanism that tightens the grip around the pin and firmly locks it in place. The top of the stand contains the large plates on which you would mount your speakers. They are very large and easily fit my KRK monitors. The plates contain a sort of material that offers a lot of "grip" and allows your speakers to be securely "stuck" to them. Assembly: -------- Assembly is VERY easy but you'll need an allen wrench. The set comes separated into 3 portions: Triangular base, tube portion, and top plate. There are screws with washers at both ends of the tube portion. Remove the screws/washers and connect the base and the top plate to the respective ends. Using the allen wrench, tighten the screws (make sure you placed the washer underneath the screw as it provides stability and is integral).

These are by far the best speaker stands I've ever used. Super sturdy, solid construction, better than previous wood stands that I've used. Each stand took me about 3-5 minutes to assemble (because I like taking my sweet time with my OCD and examining them in full detail as I assemble them). If you're in a rush, you can put one together in less than two minutes. The main trigger for me was the adjustable height. I needed something that would hold my front speakers at an appropriate height so that the Dolby Atmos speakers on top that fire upwards would actually bounce off the ceiling at the right angle. If you have Atmos- or DTS:X-style upwards-firing speakers, setting them too low doesn't give an accurate soundstage. I'm not pro at this stuff but it seems like a reasonable statement given the angles and my experiences with different speaker heights. The first criteria was how high I could get these stands. The problem I find with most stands is that they don't go high enough for me. I'm 6'4 so when I'm sitting down my ears are still at a pretty decently high level, and I like my speakers to be at ear level or higher. Please rest assured that these stands go SUPER HIGH for a small living room. I thought I would be maxing out the height on these but it turns out that would be way too high lol. The speaker base itself is also great in that it's large, it's square shaped, and it has the soft footings on two ends to keep your speakers in place. Overall, I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for some sick stands, especially if you want to get the most out of those Atmos-style upwards firing speakers. 10/10

I have these in my studio and in my lounge. Good quality monitor stands at a decent price in a market that charges the earth for this type of product. They are very stable (use the supplied spikes on a carpet), and extremely well built. They come with a small plastic clip that you can use on the safety peg for extra confidence, or to hang onto a cable, which lives in a hole on the side of the post. They make a professional looking addition to the home/project/budget studio environment where spending over £100 on monitor stands is impractical or unrealistic.

Llegaron muy bien empacadas, y sin maltratos. Las piezas y tornillería completas. Son fáciles de armar, con solo dos tornillos por cada base en menos de 10 mins. Son muy estables al ponerlas en el piso y aguantan perfecto el peso de mis bocinas monitor (KRK) de 5". Se puede ajustar la altura sin problemas, controlar la posición para girarlas muy fácil rotando la base y fijando la posición con la perilla que sirve para apretar. Me funcionan perfecto. Ayudan a poder ajustar la posición de "triangulo" en el escritorio para tener una escucha perfecta de los monitores.

I've been looking for a pair of speaker stands for my Q Acoustics 3020 surrounds. I had short listed few and finally decided to buy Ultimate SupportJSMS70 stands. Let me tell you, it's worth every Rupee. Let me put down the pro's and con's of this speaker stand. ************* Pro's ************* 1. Value for money. There are among the cheapest speaker stands that you can buy online. 2. Excellent quality. Fit and finish is very good, no scratches and paint work is very good. 3. Easy to assemble. I was able to assemble both the stands in less than 10 mins. 4. Enough space on the speaker top. My Q Acoustics is around 5.5 kg and it holds very well. 5. Good looks. Some of the other stands were awful looking. 6. Excellent packaging. Product had a outer as well as inner carton to ensure that stands are safe. 7. Finally not a Chinese one, this stand is actually made in US. It's hard to find products made in US now days. ************* Con's ************* 1. Exposed speaker cables, this is the only downside of the stand. Stand has not provided an option to conceal the speaker cable, in fact they have provided hooks on the outside. I wish cable management was better on such a good quality stand. 2. Its sturdy for my speakers however I'm not sure if its good for speaker more than 10kg. Overall a very good buy.
