BLACK+DECKER Angle Grinder Tool, 4-1/2-Inch, 6.5-Amp (BDEG400)

This grinder is a great grinder. It came with all the accessories needed and it even comes with a 2 year warranty. You will need to register this on the black and decker website for proof of purchase and the only downside is the vibration. Would recommend this to beginners as well. It is really easy to use in my opinion though I have experience with angle grinder like this. This is really powerful with 11,000 rpms. I think its designed really well for any light to medium jobs.

Bought this as a gift for my husband over 8 years ago and it’s still holding up! Good for small jobs, very powerful tool. Great quality at a great price!

I've used this extensively. It does a good job, it's a go-getter. For the price it is great. The one important defect is the operating switch. At first it was fine, but now that it is a bit worn it is a nuisance because I have to hold the switch on which is awkward, it readily jumps out of the groove that is supposed to hold the power on.

This is a great bang for your buck item. The size, power and attachment setup is all comparable to higher end models. I wish the on/off was a paddle switch but if you only push it on partway you can release it like a paddle. Overall this is more grinder than the average DIY home project calls for. Would buy again.

The edge of the guard was bent when it arrived and grinding discs cannot fit on the spindle because of it. Will contact support and update review depending on their response. UPDATE: Contacted customer support and they had a new guard submitted within 24 hours. Everything is now working great 🤗

I'm a hobbyist welder and picked this up because of the price, reviews, and the video on the Tool Teardowns YouTube channel that showed the innards to be surprisingly well-made for the low price. I've used it for cutting and grinding with flap disks and plain grinding wheels. I have been happy with the performance so far. Pros: Price Power (I haven't stalled it out yet) Locking power switch (this is a huge deal) Guard is easy to adjust Handle has 3 positions - I've only used one of them but the option is there and it's a quick change Cons: The manual says you need a type 27 disk which is cupped to put the rest of the disk farther away from the axis of the handle of the tool, but from my experience that is not necessary. Just keep your body out of the plane of rotation and you will be fine if a cutoff wheel explodes. I'll update this review if anything changes for the worse.

Fonctionne très bien, le rapport qualité prix est vraiment bon Je l’ai utilisé pour découper de l’acier épais afin de modifier un trailer et elle a parfaitement fonctionné, j’ai pu faire tout ce dont j’avais besoin sans surchauffe ni problème de disque ni quoi que ce soit d’autre

ya llevo mas de 5 meses usándolo y todo perfecto, tiene una excelente relación calidad precio, por lo general la utilizo para cortar tubos , ángulos y soleras de fierro, para hacer estructuras y funciona muy bien, obviamente para cortar hay que utilizar un disco de Corte, que son los delgados, por que el que trae es para desbaste.

es una buena herramienta de uso ocasional no de uso continuo o como para talleres, lo compre para labores ocacionales en el hogar y me ha funcionado muy bien ,la marca no la considero como de uso continuo y funciona bien

For a 4 inch generic this tool has so much power I nearly dropped it
