Dark Roast Coffee

Beautiful roasting process. No leaky oils or "seattle" burnt masking of flavor. Hint of smoke with a nice deep true coffee profile rounded out by a maple note. The espresso roast is my favorite. Funky strawberry compóte stink with the grind is absorbing with a nice punch of burnt sugar. Nice bite of acidity in finish. Again, my favorite.

As soon as I got home from work, I could smell the amazing aromas seeping out of my mailbox. It was at that moment I knew my Coffee Bros had arrived. I went inside super excited to brew up a nice pour over to see if the taste notes matched the aroma. And let me tell you, they did !! This coffee had hints of chocolate/nutty notes, it wasn’t bitter at all and every sip was as smooth as can be. This is my new go to, good job Coffee Bros, you have yourselves a new customer !

This was surprisingly excellent, the taste was very good and in a French Press it was very flavourful. I'm excited to try some of the other ones and really good as cold brew or just take the left over coffee and bam, great summer fruity and bold cold coffee.

I wouldn't say that my tastebuds are at a level where I can properly rate the complexity of the coffee, but i will say that this make a great cup of joe! It is dark and smooth, not bitter and no bad aftertaste. I really enjoy it and am happy that I found a coffee I don't mind ordering on Amazon.

Tasted good in the beginning but when getting close to the bottom it started tasting like plastic

This is great dark roast coffee! If I were to rate from 1-10 it would be a solid 9/10. Smoothness is the biggest thing that stands out with this coffee. Many companies will over roast their dark roast coffee giving a burnt taste while this coffee was roasted just enough to bring out chocolate flavor notes. Works well as espresso coffee and was my favorite method to bring out greater flavor in this coffee. I appreciate this companies business model of supplying only fresh coffee. The roasted date was very fresh and I look forward to trying their espresso version.

I heard so many good things about this coffee from friends that I had to order them for myself. When the package arrived, it was a plain and simple bag. After all, its just coffee - RIGHT? But when I opened the bag, the aroma just blew me away. Next morning, when I made my first cup, I was pretty impressed. It was strong without being bitter. It had hints of chocolate and just the right amount of nutty flavor. I’ve been drinking coffee for longer than I’d like to admit, but never realized what I was drinking until I tried Coffee Bros. I can’t wait to try Coffee Bros’ other flavors.

I purchased this coffee seven or eight times now and for the most part the roast has been fairly consistent I just received the bag a few days ago and it’s got a very odd smell that’s not coffee. I don’t know if it’s the packaging or some other chemical that got in with the beans during the roasting process. I have to throw this bag out and I don’t trust them any longer : (
