Syntrax Nectar Roadside Lemonade, Grab N Go, 12 Packets, 11.4 oz

I started drinking this 3 years ago after bariatric surgery. It is the best protein for post-bari surgery folks. Post-op I found that the traditional heavier whey proteins were sometimes a little much for me. This is light- not nearly as heavy on the stomach but still helps get in all of your daily protein allowance. I still drink it daily. I go to the gym at 5 am and I can't eat heavy early in the morning, so I have one of these mixed with my pre-workout supplement. Perfect for before going to the gym. I also keep some individual packets at work in my desk at work along with a shaker bottle and they are also really good for travel. If I'm on a plane, makes a great meal replacement that will keep you on track. It mixes very well in a blender bottle with cold water (no ice- it clumps on the ice). I have tried all of the clear flavors- Grape, Roadside Lemonade, Strawberry Kiwi, etc. I find all of them to be very palatable. No, it doesn't taste like CountryTime or Kool-Aid or Grape soda- because it's protein. You're not really drinking them for the flavor profile, are you? No, you are trying to get in your protein. A little after taste on some of them, but nothing horrible. If you want a change from the regular heavy whey protein powders, you must give these a try. I love the Syntrax Nectars- they have really helped me in my fitness journey.

I recently had bariatric surgery and therefore have a newly acquired need for lots of protein. I started with the chocolate drinks and it did not take long to know that the chocolate flavor will get old really fast.So I was quick to try lemon which is one of my favorite flavors. The Roadside Lemondade iss pretty good. Its not at thick as other protein drinks and doesnt have that same after tase. To jazz up my drink I added some True Lemon crystals (0 calories and 0 sugars) and some Truvia stevia to make it a bit sweeter. Given that protein and I are now joined at the hip, I will be making the lemonade my close companion. I also purchased the grape but didnt find it as pleasing. But I will work with it to see if we can find a happy medium. I highly recommend Roadside Lemonade.

I've been looking for something to give me extra protein. Most of the ones I have tried have been too sweet. I thought this might be less so than the others. The instructions say to mix 1/4 packet with 2-4oz of water, yet it takes a full packet to give you 23g of protein. I found I needed about 10oz of water for the whole packet for it to have sufficient flavor. It tastes like a creamy lemon drink. I would not say it tastes like a lemonade. It is drinkable, but not what I was hoping for. I think I will keep looking.The ingredients are Whey protein isolate, citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, soy lecithin, acesulfame-K, sucralose. gardenia fruit juice powder. There is 60mg of sodium and 160mg of potassium. It supplies 8% of the daily amount of calcium and phosphorus. There are 100 calories per packet. It also says there are 0 carbs and zero fat. It is also lactose and glutten free. The front of the package says there is no aspartame. Looks like it is manufactured in Missouri. I ordered it in October 2012 and the expiration date is 6/2015.

This stuff mixes well and is a nice departure from milkshake-like protein shakes. The flavor is decent, my only complaint is that it's pretty weak and tastes like really watered down lemonade. I've also tried the cherry and it suffers from the same problem. It is easily correctable with a shot of squirt flavoring but that takes some of the convenience out of it although my other approach has been to mix the powder with an appropriately flavored low-sugar sports drink and this makes things pretty easy. My other issue is that the packages are almost impossible to tear open in a controlled manner that doesn't fling the powder all over the place.

This is by far the best tasting protein drink I have had. After drinking the chocolate protein mixes for about a month, I just got tired of the same old shakes. I am a frequent Amazon customer and thought I would see if they had anything different. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Grab and Go packs and I was so pleased. The taste was great and the packets are very convenient. I am now going to place an order for the large container in the lemonade and ice tea flavor.

Best tasting protein shake that I've tried so far. I am a Bariatric patient and am sick of the heavy and creamy shakes, especially the overly sweet flavors out there. This lemonade is delicious and light and not too sweet! I would have given this 5 stars except that the powder does not mix completely, there's always a few clumps left over in mixer bottles, but A real blender does a great job!

I enjoy this flavor, but it does not mix as lump free as some of the other flavors. I mix with water and use a cup with a wire shaker ball. Still, it tastes good without any off flavor, and supplies a great source of protein. These grab and go packs are not cost effective for everyday use, but I find them great for travel and for trying new flavors.

This is one of my favorite Nectar flavors (grape being the other). I had bariatric surgery, so I can't have carbonation, so now I take this and mix it with a non-carbonated Lemonade Rockstar drink to get my caffeine and protein in. Generally speaking it is a little clumpier in cold water/drinks,so mix it with some room temp drink before mixing it in a cold drink. I drink my energy drinks at room temp, so it mixes really well in this situation. I highly recommend these products.
