Q: Can you fit cards in toploaders in here and still close it shut completely?

Yes it does. It's a bit of a tight fit and does peak over the top a little bit, but it still closed very well.

Q: Is the lid attached or does it detach?

Lid detaches, is a separate piece.

Q: Will the lid close when using bcw tall card dividers?

Not certain - but guessing it would close

Q: does this box come with a full lid (i.e. a lid that is the same depth as the box itself)?

Mine I recieved comes only down about half way. The picture is deceiving.
