Stunning TV
I appreciate we all have different opinions, but I'm really struggling to understand why there are so many negative reviews on Amazon for this TV....Personally I find it to be stunning. The ONLY negative I've found so far is the unboxing. The instructions are minimal with confusing pictures only. It's so hard to work out how they intend you to remove from the box and attache the base. A quick YouTube search found a great video with an idiots guide of how to do this.Once unboxed and put together, the setup is super easy. The operating system on the TV is intuitive and easy to follow, the set-up wizard straight forward, and I had all my devices connected up in a super short space of time. The picture quality is just amazing. On standard Virgin TV it looks great, with sharp colours, bright screen, and HD quality pictures. Connect to Dolby Vision or HDR content on Netflix, and the quality rises to a whole new level. It's simply breathtaking.Personally I think the sound is pretty impressive too. The speakers point downwards at the rear, and then the curved stand projects the sound into the room. It's a bit lacking in bass, but voices are clear and it manages to reproduce an almost surround sound experience. Clearly this is nowhere near as good as a surround sound system or sound bar. But it is good enough, and in fact I've ditched my soundbar in favour of a minimalist look, as the sound is decent enough without.Going back to the operating system, it's really easy to navigate and add apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, YouTube etc etc. It's fast and responsive. Love the dedicated Netflix and Prime buttons on the remote too. This telly has basically been a HUGE step up in quality over my last TV. I'm so please. And in daily use since purchasing, I've yet to come across anything I'd changed. You won't regret buying one!

Worth every penny
Had one of the 2nd gen 65" LG OLED's for around 4/5 years now and still use it downstairs. Excellent still, except for one major flaw. The C9 we bought for our bedroom having recently moved, as a treat. And what a treat- just blows the old one out the water! Problem is the bedroom tv is better than the main tv now! Think there'll be another purchase happening soon! Everything about the picture is sublime. Have a Sonos Beam connected to it, but in all honesty, the inbuilt speakers would have been fine and provide a very respectable performance for casual listening and although doesn't go as low as the Beam, actually presents a better soundfield overall for voice imo. A lot of money for a tv but boy, you get your money's worth. Use it for streaming only (sent Sky Q back) for Now TV, Prime and Netflix. Makes the very best of a poor Now TV and excellent on the 'real' streaming services in every respect. Use Harmony Ultimate remote with screen shortcuts to each of the apps and I'm just really pleased with the whole thing. And so is my wife who now agrees we need to upgrade our 65" to a C9!!

Perfect
Absolutely fantastic tv for a great price, was easy to set up and arrived on time, delivery men were very helpful and nice, when I turned it on I was amazed by the quality, feels like I’m in the cinema in my own bed, brilliant picture and sound quality definitely good value for money worth every penny. 10/10

A dream of a tv
Needed a replacement for a very old tv. Spent months trying to decide which brand, size and screen type. Ordered a LG Nano cell tv but screen was badly cracked. Waited a few weeks and decided to try an OLED instead from a different supplier. An extremely well packed tv came and was quickly put up. Picture quality is superb especially on Sky Nature and Netflix. Would I go to a 65”? No I don’t think so. I’m watch from 10-11’ and it really is a gorgeous picture. Sound is impressive but it wasn’t a deciding factor as I use an AV amp and a 7.1 speaker setup.

Parts degrade quickly, terrible customer service
After not even 2 years of owning this TV the infrared sensor has gone. The manufactor quoted £274 for just an infrared sensor fixed. This part is monopolised by LG so I can't even go to a local TV repair person and have it fixed for a reasonable price. This customer service is beyond unacceptable.

Love it.
This was a lockdown purchase in place of a cancelled holiday! I already had a smaller LG set in my conservatory and was happy with the make and performance plus reviews were good.I was astonished at just how thin the screen is, thinner than a mobile phone, and what a picture it can produce especially in 4k. 55inch screen is ideal for my lounge and doesn't look enormous compared with previous 47inch. Wifey was worried about it looking too big but is impressed.I've had a sound bar with previous tvs but the sound from this is loud, pure and without any of the reverb I've suffered before. Loads of screen/sound settings to fiddle with if you like to get it suited to your room, like I do. Some pre-sets and added ideas don't do anything for me in terms of picture quality, so do play about. Overall, set up is easy and I have Sky fed in plus Freeview and WiFi.I have tv on a unit and the tv base is suitably heavy to keep it in place.Remote is good although doesn't have subtitle button as my smaller conservatory tv does (to cope with mumbling sound tracks or noise from elsewhere). Seems to retain WiFi setting well and getting to iplayer or Prime is fairly quick. I don't tend to use voice control but some will like that. Works with my WiFi earphones fairly well, although linking sometimes doesn't work - not sure if that is tv or earphones issue.I now have 2 LG tvs and am impressed with their quality and reliability.

Excellent tv good value for money.
Purchased to replace failed 'dumb' unit in home theatre set up. Excellent picture quality. Good range of smart apps, all I need. Connectivity good, am using optical digital for audio out as my receiver does not support HDMI ARC but no problem. Two small complaints. There is no power off switch so have to turn off at wall socket, not happy to leave in stand by except for short time. No hard copy manual just a picture guide to unpacking and setup. Online / on board manual not well indexed eg took a time to find audio out settings.
