Sony Alpha a5000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm Lens and 16GB

I have purchased about 10 different cameras over about 10 years (Canon, Panasonic, and this Sony), and this is by far my favorite! I also have a Canon 7D SLR but it is so bulky that it ends up sitting in my closet most the time. This is my go-to camera, it's not as slim and compact as my other point and shoot cameras, and won't fit in your pocket, but it's still compact enough to fit in my purse. The pictures are sooooo crisp and sharp and everyone in the picture is always impressed with how they look in pictures. They're even asked me if I apply any filters or Photoshop to the picture but I swear I don't.You can also conveniently upload images from the camera to your smartphone with a few clicks! How awesome is that??! No need to go home and then upload to your computer before posting or sending to others. The rechargeable battery lasts a good length of time too. When on vacation (when I take more pictures than normal), it can last about 4 days before needing to be charged. It depends on how much you use it so that will vary from person to person.I've had the camera since Christmas and I still love it. If this ever dies on me, I will be replacing it with the exact camera. You too will LOVE this camera.

I finally got take some pics with my new camera. The pics look beautiful in the camera. I still have to upload them on the computer. I hope the quality is just as great as it looks in the camera memory card. Fingers crossed.

I LOVE this camera. Words cannot express. It's great for ppl starting out with YouTube and it's small and compact. It has the flip up screen so you can see yourself when recording or taking selfies. I love that it's small and compact because it's easy to transport from place to place. It also came with an SD card for storage, a USB thing (idk what it's called) but you can stick the SD card in it to connect it to computers like Mac books that may not have an SD slot. Also comes with a bag to carry everything on and a small tripod to hook the camera up. About the size of 2 hands maybe not that big. Idk if I would suggest it for people who are use to having cameras but definitely excellent for starting out. Very clear pictures

I'm going to review this entire package vs. the Sony Alpha a5000 (which I already knew, was a great camera for recording my workbench).Focus was great at dispatching my package promptly, even though it was Thanksgiving week, and they must have been swamped with orders. I received the order within two days, which is record delivery time especially for a holiday weekend!They definitely under-promised and over-delivered! I got a 32 GB SD Card, and tons of freebies in my camera case, way more than what they show in the product images. While the tripod is a table-top, it was perfect for me, since I needed to record my workbench.Overall, I was really impressed!

Love it, it's a lot lighter than you expect, and smaller that the bag given. But it's very good. There is a lag in the booting up of the camera after having it for a while but it functions after the 3-4 second boot up lag. Do not drop it because it feels fragile. No audio jack but has pretty ok on camera audio. Worth the purchase overall and I've had it for 3 years

What a fantastic little camera. Google detailed technical reviews if you want the nitty gritty, but this is the ultimate travel camera that offers entry level DSLR quality. Sure the screen is not as good as the big cameras, but it sends the photos to your phone so quickly, you will never need to look at the screen. No, there is not a number of adjustment wheels for manual mode, but it is extemely easy to use and adjust to any setting you want. Additional goodies in the bundle make this even more appealing. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this camera for my 7 and 10 year old girls to use for making videos and taking pictures. They were only able to use it for about a week before the camera displayed this message: "Cannot recognize lens. Attach it properly." Rendering the camera useless. Apparently this is a common issue with Sony cameras and it's difficult to get help from Sony to repair/replace the camera. Very disappointed, and would not recommend this product.

The camera works wonderfully I'm so in love! I mostly use it to take pictures of my baby and family. I'm no professional photographer but the functions are very easy to learn and if you need help there a lots of YouTube videos on how it works. The fact that it came with all of the extra stuff was really nice too. It was convenient to have the carrying case, small tripod, extra batteries, and memory card all arrive at once and not have to order them separately.
