K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Guaranteed to Increase Horsepower: Fits 2013-2018 Dodge Ram (2500, 3500) 6.7L V6 Diesel,63-1568

Installation was very straight forward and easy, requiring only minimal tools. The most difficult part was accessing the hose clamp on the turbo inlet.Once everything was installed and checked, took my 2015 Ram 2500 with the 6.7L TD for a quick lap around the block. Throttle response was vastly improved; you can really hear the turbo now. I don’t notice a difference in overall engine sound.I will keep an eye on if/how much my mpg improve, but I’m happy with this purchase.

Fit And finish was nothing short of horrible. The intake elbow tube was at least 5/8 of an inch too short in height making the connection up top quite difficult. Not the quality I would expect from K&N Engineering. Hopefully it holds together because I’m banking on slightly better mileage and performance. Installation was on a 2016 RAM 2500 Cummins diesel, other than this accessory 100% stock.

Tried contacting Amazon about this product before I wrote this to return it but apparently I missed my return window by three days. Air filter is as expected and fits and functions fine. Intake tube is too short to fit between the airbox and turbo inlet. I would like to return this if at all possible as a month is hardly enough time to evaluate something on a truck.

I won't say it's a huge improvement ,however sound wise and appearance it is a step up. I got for my 2016 cummins with the 6.7 diesel. Turbo spool sounds AWESOME!

One of the few things my husband could do to his truck that wouldn't void the factory warranty. He has installed a K&N on every vehicle we have owned and is never disappointed.
