Mango Butter (2 x 8 Ounce) - Pure, Natural, Perfect For DIY Skin/Hair Care, Unscented

I bought this mango butter for making lotion and lip balm. OMG!!! I am impressed by the quality of this butter - it is very moisturizing, smells great and has even helped with my chronic dry skin problem. In addition to using in the lip balm and lotion, i put it directly on my skin and it gives a silky soft feel. I have been having a few break outs on my skin as i tried to use different kinds of oils and lotions but ended up blocking the pores.This mango butter on the other hand, has miraculously helped, and my skin feels a lotttt better and quite a bit less irritated and dry. I will definitely buy this again, and would recommend it to anybody who is trying to transition from skin products containing artificial ingredients to more natural remedies. I love this product. Thank you Amazon for making access to excellent products like this so fast and convenient.

This product is fantastic!! I like to make lip balm, but I don't like the smell of the Shea butters I have tried in the past - even the ones that say 'odorless' aren't really odorless....just maybe a lighter smell. But this mango butter is creamy, white and odorless! I put a scoop of it in a bowl, squeezed in the contents of a vitamin E capsule, a few drops of EVOO and a few drops of Thieves oil - mixed it all together with a rubber spatula and had a luxurious lip balm in no time! It comes in a foil package with a clear plastic bag inside that contains the mango butter - so it's not messy. Just remove the plastic bag of mango butter, take what you need, and put the rest back in the foil package - which has a ziploc closure to keep it fresh. I have also made lotion bars with it - and it worked great, maybe even better than Shea butter. This mango butter will be my go-to product for all of my recipes calling for Shea butter from now on!If this review was helpful, please click 'yes' below!

2nd time buying this. Really good emollient. I blend it with white shea butter , coconut oil, and olive oil. I'm on dialysis and need an excellent moisturizer. Dialysis really dries you and the itching is draconian. This butter is too hard otherwise but not as hard as the beauty supply store raw cocoa butter. Didn't melt in the summer heat with the first delivery I got of it. So far it's of RELIABLE CONSISTENCY.Doesn't smell like mangos, which to me is good. Research tells me mango butter is pressed from the seed and not the meat of the mango. BTW my lady days it smells like Crisco. Which, to me is also a plus. The old folks from down south used lard and Crisco as lotion. Despite limited resources the old ones usually had beautiful soft skin. Don't get scared this product takes well to any essential oil you like and/or perfume/ cologne. GOOD PRODUCT.The package came quick in a sealed clear plastic bag which was inside a re-sealable thick dark plastic bag. Great. I stored the last package in the fridge anyway. Any questions just check their site. Great packaging.Lastly, I don't like handing out 5 stars. I've been bit by garbage reviews. This one DESERVES 5 stars. Suits my purpose in every way.

I have used Shea Butter and Coconut oil for a while for my home made skin butter. I started using the mango seed butter and have made one batch of skin butter so far. I like it's consistency its very rich and smooth, not grainy like Shea butter is when you first touch it. It doesn't require working it heavily in order to get it to "whip" and it made the consistency of my butter very fluffy. That being said, I only gave it 4 stars because its very fluffy, but as soon as the heat comes around my skin butter melted. Typically, my skin butter would not melt with shea butter, coconut oil and even a small amount of beeswax but this did. I did everything the same with the exception of adding mango seed butter instead of shea butter. So the Shea provides a bit more structure to the finished product, but I love how silky this is. I will update my post once I make more skin butter and tweak my recipe/formula.

Hmm. I love Mangoes. They are my favorite fruit of all time. So anything that originates from a mango is appealing to me. So when I recently got into soapmaking and discovered that I could use mango butters in my soap recipes, I was beyond thrilled and excited. I was curious how this would compare to the butters that I was accustomed to using- other butters like cocoa butter or shea. I found this particular brand and was attracted by the packaging and other reviews. It arrived promptly and I opened it up right away. The texture of the butter was very similar to other butters I've used and worked with. It melts and smooths right onto my skin. I was happy that it didn't have a strong scent or odor. The smell is very mild and pleasing. I've used it in a few batches, sparingly. I'm trying to get the most out of it. I've enjoyed the texture and results! I will be ordering more. So happy I tried this.

This Raw Mango Butter is beautiful! A very smooth & creamy emollient. It melts beautifully into my skin. It works beautifully on its own when your fresh out of the bath and is not oily or greasy after 5-10 minutes. I so prefer this to raw Shea butter because it's smoother and does not have that strong Shea scent.Homemade creams and lotions are dreamy with this mango butter. I still use Shea butter, just in much smaller quantities since the Mango butter is now the primary ingredient. I've used this to make a fabulous body butter and face cream. Am so happy that I found this better. Love it, love it, love it.Will definitely be back for more!

It was over 90 degrees here when the butter arrived and it sat on my front porch several hours before I opened it. Amazingly, it had only softened somewhat, had a beautiful creamy color and very little fragrance. I have used it in a couple of skin products since it does not clog pores. I have mixed it with essential oils and am very pleased with the way it blends. My house is at 70 degrees year round and it stays firm in my storage area and remains creamy after mixing. I would definitely order it again.Update January 2017: I have ordered a second bag and am still pleased with the consistency, fragrance and price.
