I’ve had chairs from $45 (Amazon Basics) to $300+. When my $300+ chair just failed after a year (wouldn’t hold its height), I was loathed to spend that kind of money on another one, while at the same time nervous about buying a cheap chair, which at $45, this chair is.I figured I’d take the risk, and if it failed out after a year, it would still be a good buy, as long as it’s comfortable. Well, I’m beyond impressed. This chair offers much better lumbar support than the cheap Amazon Basics chair and it's equal to my $300+ chair (although not adjustable). It also goes higher than any chair I’ve ever had. Normally, to get the height I need, I have to add a 2 inch seat pad. Not with this chair.SEATThe seat is adequately padded - about 2 inches. It does feel firm, but comfortable to me. It is slighter smaller than my previous chair, but not by much, but if you’re a large person, you might want to bear this In mind. I’m a six-foot 210lb 185lb-wannabe, and it’s perfect for me. I'll probably add a memory foam seat pad, mostly because I sit on my chair for hours at a time.BACKRESTThe backrest resistance is nice and responsive and it is adjustable too.WHEELBASEIt does have a short wheel base, much shorter than my previous chair, which means it rolls on the floor a lot easier. Great if you have carpet, not so great if you have a wood floor like me. I’ll probably end up getting a mat to put under it.ARMSThe arms are fixed, not padded and not adjustable. My chair is at a desk all day so the arms don’t play much of a part in my experience, but if you are someone who likes to kick back and lean your arms on the arm rests, you should bear this in mind.LUMBAR SUPPORTThe lumbar support is not adjustable, but is in the right place, at least for me, and is firm and supportive.INSTRUCTIONS AND ASSEMBLY TIPSIt took me about 20 minutes to assembly by myself. At the end of the day, it’s a chair, so it’s not difficult to work out what goes where. The instructions are “okay.” They show you the assembly order, but they don’t tell you which size bolts to use where - but I will, below:In order of assembly:4x medium bolts: use these to fix the arm assemblies to the backrest.*4x large bolts: use these to fix the lower part of the arm assemblies to the seat.*4x short bolts: use these to fix the bottom plate to the seat.*Only tighten these bolts 50% to begin with. Some reviewers are complaining the holes don’t line up in the seat. I don’t believe that’s the case, but it could seem like it if you over tighten the bolts when first affixing the seat. Go with 50% so you can jockey the seat around to find the holes, and then tighten them at the end.CONCLUSIONOverall, it looks and feels like a lot of chairs you get in offices - practical and functional, but it doesn't look cheap.I don’t think you can go wrong for $45.

I love this chair! Even though it was inexpensive, it fits my needs perfectly! It's very comfortable and light. Made out of mostly plastic materials, but its sturdy. The back is actually quite comfortable and has great back support for long sessions at my work space. I did buy some better rollers which are available on Amazon and that makes it a perfect chair as far as I'm concerned.Don't let the low price fool you. I think its a better work chair than some of the way more expensive chairs out there. I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy it again if I need it or could even consider it a great gift!I don't usually write reviews for any products, but I love this chair so much, I just had to.

These chairs are very sturdy, comfy, and true to color. The size is great for any age. My toddler and husband both fit perfectly in them. They roll really well on carpet. They are light enough to roll from room to room. It makes scooting in and out of the desks easy. My teenager put them together with no issue. They were easy to assemble. I liked them so much I ordered another one. I will buy again for the rest of the house desks.Be sure to follow the directions on which way is forward and back, to get the proper tilt. Someone mentioned their chair didn’t rock backwards. I think they might have placed it backwards. I know because my son made this mistake. He changed the position of it, and it was fixed.I’m extremely satisfied with this buy!Update: I bought a pink chair, and it is not the same quality. The pink one was much harder to put together. The legs are plastic, not metal. This is a problem, because it does not roll as easily on the carpet. I’m considering returning it. The picture is not what it looks like in person. It is a different chair, on arrival. False advertisement.The caps to cover the screws, keep popping off. I just throw them away as they pop off. I wish this issue could be fixed, along with the different legs.

Purchased two chairs, one for each of my teens. They arrived quickly. I was surprised that they both came together in one box.Assembly was easy and only took about 15 minutes. I assembled one while my husband assembled the other. Instructions were extremely easy to follow, but basically unnecessary.Both kids seem to be happy with the comfort and like that they are lightweight, so easy for them to maneuver around. The older one grumbled a bit because it's not a 'gaming chair', but he's welcome to get a job and buy one of those himself.I couldn't be happier with the quality for the price paid.

I purchased this chair in 2021 and has been a good chair for the price. Light weight, good color and sturdy. The only problem I have with it is chair does not lock in place so while I'm working the chair moves down on its own. This started after two years of light use. If you want to use this as an inexpensive starter office chair this is fine. If you are looking for long-term, find something else.

I finally decided to put the chair together today, reserving several hours to do it. No need. It took 30 minutes without any help at all. As instructions go, these were better than average. All the parts were there and all the screws fit perfectly into the pre-drilled holes. Even the Allen wrench was provided. The rest of the instructions were well drawn illustrations. The little print that accompanied the drawings was a little small to read, but that was easily solvable. The best part is when I sat down it in. The seat was very firm I thought. Then I slid back and felt the lumbar support and I was estatic. Huge bargain but excellent chair no matter the price.
