HIGHLY IMPRESSED!!!
I just want to start of by saying that this is only my opinion and your results may vary so take it with a grain of salt and do your own research before purchasing. So I started PC gaming back in may of 2016 and because my desk is in the living room, logistics required I purchase a headset so as not to intrude on other people watching TV. I went to my local best buy and came out with a set of logitech g430's. I picked them because they were reasonably priced (~$70 which I would now say isn't reasonably priced lol) and had "7.1 surround sound" which was an important feature for me because I play a lot of online fps games. Sadly the 430's had problems from day one. There was always a faint buzzing / hissing which would be exacerbated when I would press a key. It wasn't too bad so I dealt with it. Fast forward a few months and every time I would plug them in they would make this weird screeching pulsating noise that wouldn't go away. The only way I could keep them from doing this is if I restarted my pc and left the headset plugged in the usb port while rebooting. The USB plug on the 430's ultimately died about 2 weeks ago and I had to resort to using the 3.5mm plug which would have been fine but now I was unable to use my mic (the mic also a 3.5mm plug but my pc only has one 3.5mm jack) to talk to my team mates.I had had enough. After spending ~$70 on the g430's I decided there was no way I was going to spend anywhere near that much for a headset. Couple that with the fact that I had a $5 amazon gift card and I started perusing to see what I could find. I basically searched for surround sound gaming headset and these came up. I was skeptical at first because of the price but read a bunch of reviews and watched some videos on youtube and decided that these were worth a shot for $30.I got the sades headset yesterday and straight out of the box it blows the 430's away. I read a bunch of reviews and a lot of people were saying how premium they felt. I scoffed at this because of the price but honestly this headset feels super premium. Even my gf picked them up and was like "WOW THESE ARE NICE!". It feels well built and sturdy. That was one thing I did not like about the 430's; they always felt very flimsy. The cord is nice and thick as well compared to the 430's stringy little cord (which is a little bit longer admittedly). The USB plug and the volume controls also feel very solid. Upon plugging my set in they were ready to go in seconds (windows 10 btw). And to my astonishment I didn't have to go in and fiddle with the playback or recording device settings in my pc like I did with the 430's. I did go into settings and turn the virtual surround on and, initially, the boost boost although I later turned that option off as they are boomy enough without it. Finally the reason I bought them: to play online. I fired up BF1 and no mysterious hissing or buzzing like there was with the 430's. The virtual surround seemed to be better than my 430's as well. I assume the mic was clear as I was able to communicate with some random team members without complaints.I am highly impressed with this headset and if I had to complain about something it would be the following things. The headset is comfortable but a bit tight. This may alleviate over time however. After an hour and a half gaming last night they were getting a bit uncomfortable. Only time will tell if they loosen up a bit. Worst case scenario I just take them of between matches. My second *minor* gripe is the earcups barely encompass my ear but I have slightly larger ears so take that as you will. Overall very minor complaints and I would not hesitate to recommend these to someone. Matter of fact if you are reading this right now and are on the fence: BUY IT!

Great headset, Why the short cable?
Straight forward this is one of the more durable SADES headsets i've owned.Theres only a few things I don't like about it.1. Being that theres no additional software for this headset, so no fancy features you'd find on the cheaper USB models2. The lighting is a bit, bright, at night i would have to cover it or unplug it from my PC, because of that. Then again you could just have your computer turn off USB power, but sadly my tower doesn't allow me to do this, so it can be a bit annoying if you want your room completely dark.3. The cable, is like 5 feet.. Its significantly shorter than my SADES 908 headset, not that its an issue, just its shorter.4. The Mic is somewhat on the low side. Logitechs microphones even on their cheapy models have a better overall sound which is disappointing. However this headset is a bit dated now, so the newer models might sound much better. Now to the likes..1. It has 50MM drivers, which is rare for SADES as they use 40MM normally, so in reality, the sound quality of these actually sounds better to me than my previous version. However the software of the prior version allowed for a much more deep bass but everything else was muddled out in my opinion. This headset is pretty balanced I just wish it had the same depth in bass level.2. The Design even though its plastic, has held up much longer than my SADES 908, and they are about the same age too. The thick padding on these seem to feel like its band new still while the 908s..well they fell apart, they seem very worn out for some reason and due to this I feel like i will be staying away from that type of headset from SADES, and just getting one like this.3. Plug and play, really simple. The lack of software means it just works.4. USB. I hate nonUSB headsets now, SADES has spoiled me lolAnyway. This headset is really decent. I would buy the later revisions as the 2016 version i believe has more features now for the same price. If i had to buy this one again i would say no though. Not saying that this one is bad, but its entirely too short for my needs.

Don't waste your money.
Rated one star for complete failure of product after less than two months of ownership, and refusal of company to replace. The Headphones worked well at first, the sound quality is on par with high end (read stupid expensive makers). The microphone worked perfectly. The headset is comfortable for hours on end. (better than my Turtle-beach ones.) They looked sharp, and were a 5 star item. UNTIL I tried plugging them in this afternoon, and there were totally dead. The USB connection is dead in them regardless of the driver I tried to use..

Wish I had read ALL of the reviews
So I got these just before I went on a trip and only just opened the box three weeks later.Initially, I was excited. People on the other end of Skype calls said I sounded a lot better with this new set than my previous set. They're comfortable on my head, and I actually like that they're not noise-cancelling, I like being aware of slight background noise. The biggest flaw is that the lights on the controller serve no purpose. There are four buttons and four lights, so you'd think at least one would indicate if your mic is on or if you're muted, but nope. Not at all. Who sells a headset that claims to be better than basic and doesn't even have that simple feature? I mean come on. If I press mute, I need to know if I'm muted or not without asking "can you hear me? " and hoping they answer.I'm debating whether or not I should return these after only having them on for a few hours, because this lack of a mute indicator light is beyond annoying.
