These days, with so many different devices accessing my WiFi network, I have found that some of my electronics just work better with a direct ethernet connection to my AT&T Uverse modem. I don't think the issue is the inefficiency of my ISP's WiFi, it's more a matter of the number of devices accessing that WiFi at the same time. There is my LG smart TV, which kept dropping the WiFi connection and that messed everything up, so now it's hooked up directly through an Ethernet cable and I have no problems. Same thing with my Fire TV stick--I just didn't get great video playback using WiFi, so, now that device is using an Ethernet Cable. And so on...It's great to have this extra Ethernet cable from NetGear. They make quality products that you can rely on. This cable is no exception. It works perfectly. It's a small investment to make when it can so greatly improve the functions of your home (or work) electronic devices. I love it.

I received the NETGEAR Premium CAT5E Ethernet Cable (CAT7000P).It's a bright yellow cable that's 5 feet in length.The quality of this cable is excellent, which is what I'd expect from NetGear.The RJ45 Connectors are high quality and the entire cable seems very tough and holds up well for traveling.Connections are great.Signal transfer great.I'm very happy with this Ethernet cable.

I waited to write this review to ensure it wasn't going to be one of those items that died two months later. We hardwired out the house to have ethernet connections above the fireplaces on both levels and where we placed the wireless router box as the modem is on the other level.The NETGEAR Premium CAT5E Ethernet Cable (CAT7000P) has been hooked up for over six months and still going strong.

I have been using netgear ethernet cables for years and have always found them to be high quality, but also more expensive than the competition. I think they are worth it. I am using this cable to connect my internet to a WIFI access point, and it is working well.Note that CAT5E is an improvement over CAT5 cables in terms of speed and noise sensitivity. All I can say is that this cable allows my WIFI to operate at the full capacity provided by my fiber optic connection.

Since I live alone, I usually I connect to the internet with an Ethernet Cable so I am not wasting money powering the router. But since the television is in a different room I do use the router to stream there, So I need a durable cable that I can switch between my computer and router. This Ethernet Cable fits the bill as it is durable and at about five feel is long enough for my needs Plus it gives me a solid connection to the internet that does not cut out..

Netgear is always sold quality networking equipment that can easily be used in a business setting or home. Cable is well made like most of their products and has adequate speed over Ethernet. I use their cables for my WAN and LANuplinks because they are reliable and have strong connectors.

VERY durable, thick, and professional quality ethernet cable. I purchased this to hook up a router to a modem, and it works great. Haven't had any problems or issues with it, and it works as expected. Highly recommended!

This is replacing the same cable that is now 8 yrs old and was partially chewed by our new puppy but managed to stay working. They are really good quality. I like the easy identification from the bright yellow, super easy to use and durable yet consistent quality. Solid signal. I wish it were a tad longer but otherwise zero complaints.
