This was my first higher quality bike purchase and wow am I impressed. Wanted to do some more trail riding and just knew the cheap huffy and schwin bikes wouldn’t hold up. This bike looks amazing and performs great. I’m 5’10 and the med frame fits perfect. Rides and shifts perfect. Only complaint is the handle bars and very wide but not that big of a issue. Seat isn’t comfortable but no stock seat ever is. Overall I’m very happy with this bike. Also I would consider buying the shock air pump along with this bike cause the shocks are stocked tuned. You have to add or let out according to your weight.

Want a quality beginner without spending another $600-800 then this is the bike for you.

 I'm loving this bike. This is the most I've ever spent on a bike, and I'm glad I did. It feels great, rides great, and looks awesome. So far I've swapped the grips with some ODIs and subbed the seat post for a PNW dropper, but none of it necessarily needed to be changed due to issues, just personal preference. Because the wheels are not tubeless ready, I also replaced the stock tubes with tubes that have removable stem cores. This will allow easy slime refills and core replacement if they are damaged. The handlebars are WIDE, which makes for great handling, but I plan to cut then back about 1/2 inch on each side for the narrow sections of my home trail. The Sram NX 1x11 is nice and snappy and only needed minor adjustments out of the box. The tires have great traction. The rockshox forks and rear suspension feel fantastic! Just be sure to set your SAG (get a shock pump) Overall I am super happy with this bike. Diamondback did a great job on this build.
