Silver pouff peels
They looked beautiful and were firm but started peeling almost immediately when and weight was on it. The creasing of it which means the material is of poor quality.

Not the same color
Updated Review (dark tan pouf) so we returned the brown one and ordered the dark tan. It is very close to what is shown in the website. No smell at all. Sturdy and well made like the first one we ordered. I have uploaded pictures of the brown (the one we received first and end up returning) and the dark tan (the second one we ordered and the one we kept). Easy return.Review of the brown pouf: First of all the pouf did not have any smell. The pouf is well made, sturdy and comfortable. However the color is not like the one depicted in the picture. I bought the brown and it looks more like a faded brown very pale. We might return it, since we were expecting a vibrant brown, like the one in the advertised picture for the brown color. Quite disappointed that the color is not even close.

STINKS BEYOND BELIEF!!!
I LOVE the way my Pouf looks (I bought the mustard color which is bright and vibrant) and it is stuffed so well that I can even sit on it! I weigh 120 lbs. But I bought it as an ottoman to put near my sectional couch....The smell is BEYOND nauseating :((((( I am in the process of trying different remedies to try to salvage my purchase. So far air, sun, & Murphy's Oil have not even made a dent in the smell. Supposably burying it in cat litter for 2 weeks makes a difference so that's my next plan. Then vinegar and lindseed oil if that doesn't work.I can't explain the smell exactly but it is so gross, it's STRONG, and even a whiff of it will turn your stomach...From what I have read, it is due to the tanning process in Morocco that likely includes the use of animal/pigeon feces/urine and that the leather is from a camel which may be a factor.I cannot seem to find a "for sure" remedy online for the STINK but I will update if I do!I had some friends over last night and I was super EMBARRASSED that they were grossed out by a "smell" near my couch :( Out to the balcony it went...You may want to buy this "unstuffed" so that you can treat the odor easier or return it without major shipping costs.....YUKKKK

Beautiful
I bought two of these white poufs for my all-white living room. They are a beautiful addition. Unlike other poufs on Amazon, these are pre-stuffed and done well. Well worth the price. A note to be made, I bought these for decor only not to be sat on a regular basis.

It smells really bad. It definitely fades over time
Everyone is right... It smells really bad. It definitely fades over time, but I think it will probably always be there. (I have had mine two months, now). The things that really bothers is me is how low and squishy it is. All of my other poufs have worked as additional seating, but this doesn't. We also find it a little too slippery for resting feet. We literally have to put it in between two things, so it can be braced against something before we us it as a foot rest. It is very pretty, though! Given the opportunity, I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Attractive, comfortable, and well made, minimal flaws
Nice brown leather with few noticeable flaws, neat and attractive stitching, and comfortable. This one came ready to use, already filled with stuffing. After several months of use as a footrest in my favorite chair, it is showing no signs of flattening. I occasionally sit on it too, would definitely recommend to others.

Definitely smells like goat urine
It's so tough to decide how many stars to give this. It's really beautiful and seems to be extremely well made. It's also a great price - I haven't been able to find anything similar that is even close to as affordable. However, it STINKS. Some recent reviewers have said it does not stink, and from what I can tell from their comments, the white pouf seems to be free from the smell. I ordered the dark brown and it has such a strong scent. Based on a few comments and a recent trip to a petting zoo, I believe the scent is goat urine which must be used in the dying proces. I left it outside for a week, tried a vinegar solution and a different baking soda solution with no luck. The smell has faded some (had it it about a month) but it is still there. So, be warned.
