Boy oh boy!
I won’t lie, in the time I’ve picked up the 7-string the typical gauge of strings (9-52) just won’t cut it for me. These strings right here are fantastic for my play style. Power chords sound raw and open notes sound like a chainsaw. Although I gotta say there was some concern when applying the strings to my instrument, but with patience and wiggling those bad boys into the ports I was able to get’em in. Do they djent? Yerp. Do they got the range for most bands with drop A tuning? Yeeerp! Don’t challenge meshuggah though unless you do their early stuff; the range of these strings won’t cover the range and depth of an 8-string hahaha all in all, great stuff here

Great Strings
These were exactly what my guitar needed. I purchased my first seven string and went with a very inexpensive ESP LTD M-17 just to try it out. My biggest complaint with this guitar was the terrible intonation which got way worse when tuning down. I suspected a big part of the problem was a lack of string tension. There was almost no tension on the neck from the lighter gauge strings from the factory. It doesn't help that this particular 7-string has a short 25.5" scale length instead of a 26.5" or 27". It seemed that these are about the heaviest gauge set of strings I could find and I have always liked GHS Boomer strings. Once I restrung the guitar with these there was an immediate improvement in the intonation and playability. I would recommend these to anyone, especially those experiencing similar problems with a short scale 7 string guitar.

Four Stars
Good strings stay sounding new for a while and durable.

You need these
Wanna play in 7-string B standard? (F# B E A D F# B). These are the strings.Threw these on my 25.5"-27" multiscale, the tension was really even throughout so that's probably the scale I'd recommend. Straight 27" would be a little higher tension but I imagine it would be great there too. Incredibly solid sound clean or distorted, and for not a whole lot! This is my first set of that type, and I think I'll stick to them.

I love it
I love these strings, this guitar strings set sounds low and amazing, 3rd string is wound, so my guitar gots a heavy low tone. Its really easy to mantain my guitar tuned on drope A tune.

Way too thick for me, but they aren't dysfunctional.
This isn't necessarily me saying the product is bad, because it does what it's supposed to. It's just ULTRA-THICK. I find them difficult to play with due to how damned thick the strings are. If you do get these strings, just know that these strings are by far the epitome of heavy gauge.

Love em
These get my 25.5" scale 7 string down to drop e with zero problems. I usually only tune to drop f though for a little more tension on the high strings. Sounds great through russian big muff and an orange for doom or into a tube screamer and mesa boogie for djent. Can't complain. Even fit in my tuners just fine only had to file the nut a bit and intonate at the bridge.

Never buying again, unless I want to use the strings for a bass.
Too thick, couldn’t even get it through the tuning pegs.
