Confer Plastics Economy Inpool Ladder

A great replacement for our flimsy Intex pool ladder. Attached it to a purpose built deck/exterior ladder. I like the way the ladder can be pulled out of the pool to vacuum - just lift the arms and it slides off. Kids jumped and tugged on it all summer. It has held up well. Just fill with 10lbs sand to keep it on the bottom. I also rinsed it out about halfway through the summer - there was some algae growing inside.

I live with just my husband and we don't have kids yet. Our friends use the pool a lot but for a long time we were all strong enough to lift ourselves out using just the deck to lift up and out. We finally decided for safety we needed a ladder but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This isn't a great long term solution for when we have a family, but it's fine for us. It's a little flimsy, but gets the job done if that's all you need.

We have 2 different kinds of steps. The wedding cake steps was a breeding ground for algae. The other kind floated constantly. Got sick of trying to weigh then down. We finally decided on a ladder now that our kids are older. This one is great! It doesn't float up and my teen son and I put it together in just a few min. It's perfect for my deck that is lower than my pool.

This ladder is strong and seems to be made well. We purchased it because it does not have a steep angle and goes straight down into the pool. It is also wide enough for adults. However, and this is a big however, this must have been made for people who intend to wear shoes into the pool. The ladder rungs are absolutely painful to step on. They are graduated into almost a point. You have to step very gingerly, trying to find just the right way to put weight on your foot. By the time we realized how poorly designed the steps are we have already filled it with sand and installed it. We'll be trying to figure out a way to put some kind of rubber covering on the top of each rung.

Easy to install, per instructions you will need a about 10 lbs of sand to halo anchor. Looks great and very durable. It was wider than expected, making for easy entry and exit . Definitely great product for the price.

pool ladder is a little flimsy, when you get out of the pool the handles bend, and some people have almost fallen back into the pool. not a very good buy

I bought 5 half of them the strike indicator didn't work right. This product isn't worth buying goTo your local sports store

This is a nice sturdy ladder. The instructions say to fill it with sand, which I did, but the sand started leaking into the pool. I removed the sand, drilled a few holes and filled it with water, and that worked much better.
