Normally I do not do reviews. However this muffler was fantastic. Taking an open raspy exhaust and deepening the sound and almost completely eliminating the brain numbing drone.

Had a Magnaflow dual in dial out muffler on my F150 for years but it rusted out and became unbearable on any trip. This Borla gave me the refined rumble I was looking for without busting my budget or making my head hurt with interior resonance.

I took out the stock mufflers the drone was unbelievable , with the muffler delete kit 3”tube 4”loud exhaust.With 2 Carvan 3” mufflers at the and 3” exhaust tips sounds amazing if your on the track !!!But for daily driving it was horrible.So I went with the Borla XL ,It has a x pipe in it so I yanked the H pipe and factory resonators . Rumbles not drones. No more Rice burners sound. Deep with a tone. I was remaking the Borla AtAk system on a budget.

Overall the product is well built for the price.An important note is that is loud - 100db next to the muffler &90db at 4 feet away on a double pipe stainless exhaust with 2 mid resonators (bmw with M54 3.0l engine).As for the sound it is nice & deep.

I have a very loud Nissan 300zx NA with the quietest straight through mufflers (Seibring racing) and the drone was killing me under 3200 rpm. I tried the stock midpipe, aftermarket midpipe with small resonators and even the scientific j pipe which all didnt kill any drone. I had my muffler guy weld in this incredible piece in place of the stock midpipe/stock resonators and it made my car fun again to drive. Still has some good exhaust noise but little to no drone. I love this, good job borla.

Installed on my 2006 Nissan titan sounds amazing with no drowning or rattle

I was not sent the Turbo XL 2.5 in/out muffler as I was suppose to be sent. Was sent Turbo XS 2.25 in/out instead so entire exhaust had to be done for this configuration. XS muffler is not as loud or deeply toned as XL but time pressure left me no choice but to use. Works fine, could be better.

I bought one for a 2003 4 Runner v8. It has a very low rumble at idle. When you step on it, it comes alive! It’s paired with Doug Thorley long tube headers and a Volant CAI intake. I’m sure it’ll sound just as good on stock manifolds. I’d buy this again!
