KitchenAid KHM512CB 5-Speed Hand Mixer, Cranberry

Love this little mixer!KitchenAid is a wonderful company. Obviously famous for their stand mixers, so when I was in need of a hand mixer, I figured I'd give this a try.It's adorable! (I ordered the pink)It's super easy to clean, very sturdy, does exactly what it's supposed to do, and was an amazing price.We often use it for shedding chicken, which is a rather heavy duty task for small mixers, but it holds up, gets it done quickly, and overall does great.KitchenAid never lets me down!

KITCHENAID..... What more really needs to be said !*!*! Clean presice streamlined design... a strong motor... not roaring loud... just always ready when I have a smaller job that doesn't require my big pink KITCHENAID stand mixer... ! I have all KITCHENAID appliances in my kitchen. They never let me down. I'm a believer.Sunday Afternoon... today I made my Husband a chocolate cake w/chocolate icing both from scratch...... I used my new pink KITCHENAID hand mixer. It was great... Both the the desert and the mixer. You just cannot go wrong using great quality appliances in your kitchens. The tasks become so fast and easy. Not to mention KITCHENAID offers so many cool designer colors to accent your personality in your kitchen. Have some fun COOKING.

Got rid of my other hand mixer after spending more time wiping the walls than mixing! This one really does have a slow speed that doesn't fling the contents of the bowl all over the room (and you!). I've mixed cookie batter and whipped cream--worked well for both. Love the bright color; I was looking for the least expensive of the colors offered, and got the fun bright pink color, too. Most of the time it's in the cupboard, and when I get it out to mix something the bright color makes me smile.

I have a kitchen aid stand mixer. and I have a cheap handmixer. I still consider this a worthy purchase.If all you need to do is mix up some cookie dough, heavy cake batter, or whip up a meringue to stiff peak, a $12 supermarket mixer will probably get you there faster. - and I keep my cheap handmixer around for those purposes.This mixer is great for more delicate desserts. If you want a meringue at medium but not stiff peaks for the perfect soft sponge, slow whipping is the way to go. Also, if you want to make smaller batch of buttercream, this is the only usable handmixer I've owned for that purpose, because the cheap, fast one tend to throw the butter right onto the edge of the mixing bowl, and after countless scraping , I decided it was worth getting a good mixer with an actual slow setting. the difference was night and day. I could even kneed mochi with hook attachments on the slowest setting. it's slow and steady and splash free. For smaller portion baking, it's just not worth the trouble of using and cleaning the standmixer. this little thing is fast and easy, and perfect for someone who likes to cut recipes in half if not thirds (for people without big family and find baking materials cost bit high to constantly make the full recipe and give more than half of it away to not waste food)

I bought this to replace one that was about 20 years old. The switch operates very easily with your thumb. The combination of the switchable cord and flat back area makes it easy to pause or stop mixing with beaters still in place. The new style beaters are so much easier to clean than my 20 year old ones and they work great too! I have two small comments. While I love the deep pink color I certainly wouldn't call it "cranberry" as the manufacturer does. And I wish it was slightly more powerful as this is my only mixer. I have not yet tried it for very heavy mixing but if you do a lot of that you might want to consider an appliance with slightly more power. However for the price I am very happy with this item.

I'm impressed with this product. I was a bit hesitant to order based on a few of the reviews stating that the mixing power wasn't up to par, however, I baked three recipes this past weekend that all called for a standing mixer, and all three turned out delicious using this hand mixer.This mixer is easy to hold, and true to KitchenAid, aesthetically pretty.The only attachments that come with this mixer are the two stainless steel turbo beaters. You can buy other attachments separately. For the recipes I made, I didn't need any other attachments (two cakes and one batch of cookies).I like to bake but I wouldn't say I make something every week or anything, so this hand mixer is perfect for me at the moment.

Was making Christmas cookies and noticed a burning smell towards the end of mixing them and sure enough it would run after I turned it off and turned it back on again.....soooooo I got on here and started looking for a new one. I've used this for everything from cookies and cake mixes, to mashed potatoes and everything in between and it works great!! Came with several attachments, the ones shown in the pic are what you use for most things and don't be fooled by how thin they are because the cookies I made with them are a really THICK dough and then worked great. It comes with a dough hooks to which I've never used but I have them if I ever need them! Loved the color too since my kitchen is in red and yellow!! Highly recommend to anyone shopping for a decent priced mixer that's looking for a quality handheld mixer!! Oh and as an added plus I got it quickly so that I only had one full day of downtime while making my Christmas cookies and goodies!!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, COULDN'T ASK FOR ANY BETTER PERFORMANCE. IT WHIPS CREAM WITH EASE I DON'T LIKE TO TAKE OUT MY LARGE OSTER CENTER THAT IS STORED IN MY CABINET FOR A FIVE MINUTE MIX JOB SO THIS IS THE PERFECT ANSWER FOR ME. IT HAS A SURPRISING AMOUNT OF POWER COMPARED TO THE MIXERS OF 20 YEARS AGO. ANOTHER PLUS IS IT THAT YOU CAN CHOSE FROM THE GREATEST COLORS. REMEMBER...LOOKS ARE EVERYTHING. :)I WILL STILL USE MY STAND MIXER FOR A LARGE JOB AS I DON'T KNOW HOW DURABLE THIS MIXER IS.ANOTHER PLUS IS THE LOW PRICE.

Wrong voltage. Straight from the US but with a massive margin added on top. Description did not stipulate this. Would need transformer to run in the UK.

I bought this hand mixer to match my 3 other kitchen aid appliances. It works well but isn't quite as fast as my old mixer. Overall, I like it.

Perfect hand mixer. Has a wonderful retro look that I love, is very quiet and feels solid in your hands.
