Recommend this TV
Great picture which is what a TV experience is mostly about. Even non-HD sources look better on this device than on my older non-4K, non-Ultra HD. The sound quality is better than the older Samsung I owned but could still be improved. Stereo separation is almost nonexistent. I tend to play the audio through my home stereo system. I do't have a home theater sound system so i can't evaluate this TV's compatibility with such. There are additional features this set offers, which I have not explored, but might later when I see a need for them. For example, I can with this TV, but don't want to, surf the Internet, nor link it with my computer. Unfortunately, there continues to be limited UHD programming available. I have neither dish nor cable TV service but subscribe to Netflix (offers a dozen or so UHD programs with a subscription fee increase) and Amazon Prime (no UHD, at this time). The apps available through Samsung are very limited. This has been an on-going problem that I wish the management at Samsung would address. Or maybe there is an application I haven't discovered that would increase app choices. I use Roku to watch a number of services, such as CBSN or SKY TV or ESPN 3. Connecting Roku was very easy, as was attaching an older Blu-Ray-capable Samsung DVD player. We don't use the TV for gaming, so I can't say anything about how well it handles rapid visual movements, but I would not suspect there could be problems. I've had very good luck with Samsung media products: I found the Samsung UN40JU6500 a great TV.

Very good picture, the color quality is amazing. Good price.
Got the TV, set it up easily. It works great. Even though there is no UHD resolution content available from content providers as of yet. I will be upgrading my Fire TV box to a UHD capable one. As well as upgrading Netflix to UHD content. This TV is lighter and fits the space allocated for it quite nicely. It will sync up with a Samsung smart phone like my Galaxy S6. With wireless capability plenty of ports. Well worth what I paid for it.

This TV only lasted 2 years and now has a black screen and no sound.
I am disappointed in this tv and would never buy any kind of Samsung product ever. I paid a lot for it and expected at least 3-4 years of service from it. It only lasted for 2 years and then just had a black screen and no sound. It has a 1 year warranty. I tried various fixes from online searches and nothing worked. Others have had the same problem and the only solution is to bring it in for service. The cost of service would be the same as a new tv with a better company. I would rather pay for a new tv that will last for more than 2 years.

Great TV for the price, supports all UHD/HDR formats that the xbox one S supports
According to my xbox one s this supports all the 4k/HDR formats that the new xbox one has. You have to enable UHD color in the menu, and it can only be done on HDMI port 1.I'm not sure the panel itself actually has the expanded colors for HDR, but it's nice to know all the new 4k stuff is at least recognized. The built in netflix works very well and overall the TV is very responsive. The stock remote is straightforward and seems to work very well.I use the audio return channel (works very well) and let the TV control my Sony amp. They seem to play nicely for the most part, though there are some occasional oddities (the amp sometimes switches back to the TV audio setting when I don't want it to). Turning on the TV turns the amp on, and turning the TV off turns off the amp, which is very handy.

Great TV!
This is a really nice TV. Picture quality is great. OS is functional and easy to use, and the smartTV features are well thought out and easily accessible. TV also works very seamlessly with my BD player/stereo which aren't even Samsung brand. The only thing I've encountered that doesn't work well is the on screen guide for watching OTA digital TV. The guide is extremely laggy and takes forever to page through available channels.

Great display, works as monitor...and smart TV
I've bought this to use as a monitor and for that purpose it works well! The base version also comes with speakers which suit my needs. One thing I've had to do was to upgrade my GPU and PSU in my pc for this beast of a display, but it has been totally worth it. If I ever need or want to play games or use this as an actual TV I am fairly sure that this would work well.As a smart TV it gives you many options, some of which people concerned with privacy might not take to. Just uncheck the relevant boxes during setup.

Kudos To Samsung
Very versatile and delivers a lot of bang for the buck. No dead pixels. Fairly simple to set up. Good native speakers and pairs easily with Bluetooth speakers. Excellent picture except for shadows (digital sets still don't handle shadow detail as well as the old analog CRT sets). Expect to fiddle with the settings a bit, which is easy to do. Good viewing angles. If reliability and durability match out-of-the-box quality, Samsung will be the brand to beat for value.

After much research as well as great experiences with Samsung products
After much research as well as great experiences with Samsung products, I bought this TV. I am very pleased with it, great picture and great sound and was just the right size for over the fireplace. I used a VideoSecu ML531BE TV mount which made it complete. I have not tried any 4k content on this TV but all of the 1080 video looks great. Also, the Anynet feature works great with my Dish Network service and Blu-ray player.
