So I did lots of research before deciding on a sea salt as I had seen some of the more leading brands have heavy metals such as lead. Through my research I found that Jacobson's does not have the heavy metals or contain lead. The salt are large beautiful Flakes and The Taste is amazing . This is a wonderful salt that I highly recommend.

A very premium brand with very premium quality. I use it for very specific ice cream recipes and it works tremendously well.

We watched a video on YouTube about this company and how they make the salt. They explained just how high quality it is and what it's used for. Despite eating in fine restaurants across the globe, we never thought of using finishing salt on our own cooking - until finding this. Now there is a bamboo salt holder on the counter next to the stove. Steak, vegetables, eggs - it all gets a pinch (or more) of the finishing salt just prior to serving - and it is fantastic. One thing to note about this particular finishing salt is the high quality. If you find the video I mentioned, you'll see they put a lot of thought and effort into finding just the right location for the perfect sea water intake to make the salt. It really shows when compared to other similar salts. We purchased a different brand from a local high-end cooking store and the quality didn't come close to this from Jacobson. Do yourself a favor and get some. Your tastebuds will thank you.

The Best salt ever! I always have this on hand.

This salt is delightful!! I ordered a cheaper flake sea salt, that was nasty, lesson learned. So, then I decided to order the one I wanted from the beginning, this one. This one is beautiful flakes and a wonderful flavor. I'm very pleased. I will be using it for "special" but when I run out I will be reordering this one.

Use to think all salt was the same. I was wrong! This salt you can tell is great quality. It’s more bold in flavor and you don’t need a whole lot of it. The flakes are kinda big but I can easily crush it up more if I need too. Cooks great and seasons great. The onlllllyyyyyy thing is the bag is pretty small for the price. BUT! like I mentioned you don’t need much of the salt to make the flavors stand out. I am happy with this purchase.

People who think salt is just salt haven't tried Jacobsen salt. We have used kosher salt for a long as I can remember but this salt makes good so much better. It's light and flaky and so much better. This is really good

I discovered Jacobson’s Oregon sea salt after it was tested by Tamara/LeadSafeMama Labs. Their Oregon salt was the only salt that actually tested low to no lead or other heavy metals. Their Italian salt did not test well. She has recently tested the GREEN box of Maldon, which also tested no lead. We replaced our Celtic salt and pink salts several years ago as a result of them testing high lead and a couple of other metals. Now we only use Jacobson‘s Oregon sourced salt, and have recently added back Maldon’s green box flake salt as well as it is slightly more cost-effective. Jacobson‘s kosher salt is not too large (the one that sold in the canister) and works quite well in our salt grinder. This flake salt is perfect for grilled meats. I also throw it into my pasta water.

Very pleased with this salt , will definitely be buying again , my only issue would be I would like to have bought it in a larger quantity . Apart from that it’s the best !

It’s a job to know if this is good as time will only tell , like other reviews mention, this is a small pouch , but I went for it due to the fact it said it had no metals and I am trying to detox from heavy metals
