Functional and cheap
First of all, remember that this product is inexpensive, therefore, one must not set standards too high. I got this to keep my garmin 1390 LMT nice and protected and it has done just that! I can say I'm pretty happy with it. The case fits the garmin and the USB connector inside (not the car adaptor, which doesn't matter since I leave that in the car anyway. I bring in the garmin especially when the temperatures are freezing, or when it's too hot outside -- as recommended by the manufacturer, so I don't mess up my device).Things to remember if you do buy this:- the carrying strap looks cheap, therefore don't even bother using it!- be careful when you open and close the zipper, because it can get caught in the stitched lining inside the case. It's no biggie. You simply have to look first before you zip! It's no different from having a zipper get caught on your jacket because it got stuck to material underneath. If it does get stuck, don't force it closed! Make the zipper pull go back the way it came and free up whatever is in its path. I've not had this problem yet though.I like the case. Would I recommend it? Only if someone wants something cheap that does the job (like me!). If you want something spiffy looking to go with your spiffy GPS, get something else! Simple as that.

Excellent Value
I bought a couple of these cases to start for our Garmin GPS (Nuvi 1300 and 660) and ended up ordering several more. The cases are semi-hard sided and protect our GPS quite well. I would expect even if they were dropped from a height of several feet that they'd survive just fine. The cases can only hold the GPS unit, no room for cords or anything else, but that's what I wanted. The build quality is better than expected and quite good overall. The exterior is satin smooth and easy to clean. The zipper is solid. It's lined with soft material inside and comes with a carrying strap that you can attach to an exterior ring, or not. There are small elastic bands on either side that prevent it from opening too wide. That can be an advantage for folks that tend to drop things, but if you don't need them they can be cut out quite easily.I'm using them for our GPS, a small Sony digital camera (very flat...it wouldn't accommodate a camera with a protruding lens) as well as a couple of WD 2.5" USB external hard drives (with enough room for a small USB cable). I have a couple more on the shelf waiting to be put to good use.FWIW they don't have that nasty smell some imported items like this can have and that's a bonus. They are very basic but even with shipping, the quality and value is quite good and the price can't be beat!

Does what it's meant to do.
This case is not fancy or colorful. It's meant to protect your device (I have three of these for three different Garmins) and it does that well. There is a little extra room inside so that the GPS slides around a little but that's OK because I bought them to store my GPS units in my glove compartments and there isn't a lot of banging around that they do. I didn't by soft cases because I wanted better protection for the GPS screens and these cases provide that. I only took one star off because of the extra room and that isn't really the cases fault, but a little more padding would take up the space and that just isn't part of these cases. I would certainly buy these again or recommend them to someone else.

Nice Product for the $
We bought this just before our trip to VA. I know the area pretty well and wanted to see if it would actually get us around the quickest way. It did not give us the quickest routes most of the time but it still got us there. If you decide to take a different route, I suggest turning the thing off because it will just keep telling you to turn around or take other turns to get you back on the route it wants you to take. Kind of annoying, but at least you will not get lost easily. All in all it is a very good product for the $. Others said it took forever to get the updates. I say to them; get a newer computer or better internet. It only took about 12min. to get all the maps and updates. You will not regret it if you by this product.

Great product!
You could go and spend $20 for a brand name case or for something like $5 you can get a product of comparable quality. This case is a perfect fit for my Garmin 265WT and works just fine for what it needs to do. No complaints here.Update: O.k., let me clarify my review for a moment. When I bought this case on amazon it was less than $5. What I was trying to say is that you could go buy a more expensive case for $20 or walk away completely satisfied with the case I am writing this review for, and only pay $5. Actually, it looks like the case is now up to $8.63, so it is a bit more expensive but on the other hand, it is a good value for the money.

Overall, great GPS
Let me say, I'm one of the last to actually jump in and buy a GPS for my car. I don't travel a lot, but recently took a new job 60 miles away from my home and in a place where I am familiar with nothing. I figured, what the heck....let's do it.I ordered this unit based on lifetime traffic updates, screen size, lane guidance and compactness. I have been very pleased with all aspects of the unit aside from one: It occasionally will run into issues when searching for a satellite connection. When this happens, it's indefinite. Usually, it will not work the rest of the day. I called Garmin customer service about it the first time (as I as on my way home from the new job and, alas, couldn't get directions out of town). They walked me through some steps on the screen and then stated my firmware needed to be upgraded. I followed their instructions (after getting a hold of a data cable =/) and it seemed to be fine for the next couple of trips. Then, suddenly, right back to not finding satellites. The next day, it worked fine.Bottom line, I don't know what causes the issue with satellite searching, but aside form that (and that's a BIG problem) and the lack of a manufacturer supplied data cable for software updates), the unit performs very well. I would still recommend it for the price and features, but would strongly advise printing a copy of Google Maps' directions to wherever you're going before you leave. Just in case.
