I used this with a pair of DT 1770 Pros and I find that (if you stay motionless) the sound really is impressive - whatever is inside the cable seems to work nicely. However, the plastic wrapped around the cable is fairly hard and ridged and it makes a lot of noise when the cable moves over something. Apparently it's called microphonics, and this cable's microphonics are really annoying! If you find a way around that (I try to sort of suspend the cable in the air), then go ahead and enjoy the sound!

This cable suffers from terrible microphony, the outer sheath on the cable is hard plastic so if you breathe at all you can hear the cable scraping against your clothes. If you scrape your finger nail up and down the cable its actually deafening.

Good value for the money and whilst not Hi Fidelity, it doesn't break the budget. However, this cable is no better than the standard issue from AKG which comes with the headphones.
