We LOVE the Kube Water Filter System
We were thinking of getting reverse osmosis, but the guy at the hardware store told us about this Kube Water filter system. They ran out of these at the store, so I bought it on Amazon, and wow! it's great, super easy to install, takes little space under the sink, if you're in doubt just visit their webpage for installing the Kube. I won't ever go to a reverse osmosis again. I'll probably update my review in the next couple months for a more updated review. I hope I remember to share.April 2019 - I am appending to my message because it's been a few years now we have had this and I STILL love it. Only dilemma is that we have to use a Zero water filter to help with the drinking water because it doesn't work 100% with such hard water in Arizona. So, I use the KUBE for all my cooking, and boiling water, but I use the ZERO to filter it a bit more for better tasting water. I love both products.If all water filters were as easy to install and replace filters as KUBE, life would be so easy.... some time later, in Arizona, this is a great thing, it's wonderful, but living in the desert can leave excess hard water issues. I think with the right zone(s) it would produce much more amazing results. I don't think you'll be disappointed to say the least. Good luck with it.

This thing works great and is easy to install.
I saw a few of the old reviews from 2016 and was concerned, but the predominance of good reviews prompted me to give it a chance.Install is super easy. I'm not a plumbers and it took 30 min. no leaks.Water flow is acceptable. It is actually hard to tell the difference. Pretty happy here as well.Taste is great (same as our old Kitchen Aide refrigerator and Brita pitcher.I did not want another faucet on my counter and this saves all the drilling and install issue with other systems.Completely happy with the product and very glad we went with this option.

Great taste, easy to install, filter change indicator by volume of use not time,,,PERFECT!!!
I absolutely love it. Easiest to install and has almost everything included with the exception of a little Teflon tape. It fit conveniently under the sink. I have given these as gifts and installed them for neighbors. I want to put one even in the bathroom sink because it dramatically improves the taste of the water. I read the purification specifications on the sheet and I believe that it said it removes 98 to 99 % (99.999%) of most contaminates. I don't understand what the dissolved solids are that other reviews are talking about. I am very particular about the water I drink and I drink a lot of water. The taste is every bit as good if not better than bottled water that I used to have delivered;

a peace of mind
Installation: It is very easy to install. Other comparable systems want you to install a dedicated faucet, which I don't like/don't want. However it did take me a while to complete the installation. There was a water leak around the female adapter to the cold water shutoff valve. Had to put some Teflon tape and tighten the adapter using a wrench (don't over-tighten it of course! It is plastic after all).Operation: it does impact the flow rate on the cold water side as expected, about 40% reduction in my case. This is comparable to what others have reported. But, it is not as horrible as it sounds. If you need more water volume, say for washing dishes, just increase volume on the hot water side. The water will be lukewarm. Not a big problem.We have clean water supply from the city to start with. Plus we have always run drinking water through a pitcher filter. Improving taste is not our priority. I hope this Kube system will filter out a long list of contaminants like the manufacture says it would. It gives our family a peace of mind.Tip #1: take a picture of the bottom of the unit as soon as you unbox the unit. It has the serial number among other info. Will be a lot harder to get at it once you have installed it, typically in tight space under the sink.Tip #2: don't cut the hose. Leave it long for easy service in the future.Tip #3: You hear folks bragging about indicator still being blue one and half year in. The user manual says we must change the filter cartridges every 12 months even if the indicator is not showing red!!

Exceeded my expectations.
I am pleasantly surprised. I was weighing returning this item once I found out it had plastic quick connectors and plastic tubing. After opening it and looking at the quality I was impressed. Cut the hose perfectly, and pressed hard when seating the hose and it seems to have sealed just fine . I left the tubing the factory length so I can move the filter a bit if I need to.Water quality taste excellent. My tap water was bitter before. Now it tastes better than my 5 gallon bottles. I suspect because it still has minerals.I am considering buying one for my bathroom faucet.

Out of box failure
Product was very easy to install. However, it did not work. After installing I ran the cold water in bypass mode and there weren’t any leaks. I moved the blue lever from bypass to the filter position and the drip tray immediately filled with water. I emptied the tray and tried it again but the same thing happened. No water coming through the filter to the faucet. The company is sending a replacement.

Tastes like tap
We’ve had this thing for a couple of months now, and the water just tastes like tap water, so we got a second filter for the counter. It’s relatively easy to install, but if you care about the taste of your water, this one isn’t the greatest.

Filters are no longer available.
This was a great water filter when I received it. Very easy to install and improved not only the taste of the water but also reduced the TDS from ~480 ppm down to ~230 ppm. That was 2.5 years ago. Now I need to replace the filters again and they are no longer available, not even directly from Kinetico. This seams to be happening a lot with these filter company's. They sell the units and when sales slow down, they stop manufacturing the filter replacements.
