Great looking simple bumper. Easy install. Haven’t towed with it (doubt many will).

Solid bumper! Keep your stock bolts as some of the provided bolts do not bolt into the frame. Other than that, this is a great bumper for the price

Bumper looks and feels very sturdy. The bumper is very well made and the finish is perfect. The problems start when you try to install it. The procedure seems strait forward but there are four bolts that are impossible to install. The only way to gain access to the back of the bumper is to drop the gas tank. Doable but no one had mentioned it in the reviews that I read.

I wanted a tow hitch and this came at a very good price compared to others, you do however have to drop the gas tank at least partially for a TJ, I was able to get it out of the way enough without disconnecting hoses and wires. The bolts for the underside were the wrong size so I had to get some from the hardware store. Also the no drilling is a straight up lie, the thing comes with a drilling template and a 5/16 bit is gonna run you like $10 if you don't have one, I had to use a 3/8 bit in the end because my frame wasn't perfect. It came out nice in the end, if they were honest and had the correct hardware I would have given them a 4 or 5.

Needed to drop the tank to install.Surprise!Then, later found out that the hole for the hitch pin was drilled too small.Double Surprise!Sent an email to Smittybilt, via their website. No response.Surprise again!I can redrill the hitch holes. But then I will lose the rust protection.If I decide to remove the bumper, I will have to drop the tank again.Not excited by either option. 1 star until I get my enthusiasm back.

Look good and good quality, heavy metal, just need do a brackets to install on my truck
