ZINUS GOOD DESIGN Award Winner Justina Metal Mattress Foundation / 11 Inch Platform Bed / No Box Spring Needed, Twin

The media could not be loaded.  We had a steel bed frame from Zinus already that is sturdy and perfectly effective, so when we needed to replace our box spring, I decided to give them repeat business. This model looked great—we figured the nice-looking wood legs matched our floor, so we’d get rid of the steel frame and use this frame/foundation combo...it’s design was “award winning,” after all. We put it together fairly quickly and placed our mattress on top. That night, there turned out to be an unacceptable amount of movement to the bed; enough that my husband turning over or getting up would wake me. (We did check that the legs were all screwed in tightly). It turns out that the “award-winning” design isn’t so great. I’ve attached a video of the leg of the bed as my petite 7-year-old sits on the bed, and you can see what happens. The legs screw into small square plates that are welded to the inner corners or edges of the frame (instead of screwing into the frame itself). These squares flex at their weld points, and thus the bed shakes.Our solution was to remove the legs and use it in our original Zinus frame. This solved all our problems, but I could have bought one of their other foundations for over $60 less than this one. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

So after ordering the zinus Justina 11 inch ling size Foundation there were a few problems.First problem I encountered was that the middle outside legs did not touch the ground.I read a review (awesome review amd very helpful by the way) and the gentleman made a very useful critique that the Foundation has these little plastic buffers that go on top of legs before u screw them in.They were not in the first package or the second replacement package amazon sent me.Instructions did not mention them so maybe they decided not to include them anymore or changed the design.So after dissembling the first foundation and painstakingly trying to fit it back in box and tape up to send back I started to build the second foundation(replacement) and to my surprise I was greatly disappointed to find that while i was building the second frame that there were no drill holes in the middle bar,so i had to use the old middle bar from the first foundation.(thank goodness I didn't send it back before the replacement came.And to top it all off the legs in the middle outside were not touching the ground.I will not recommend this to my worst enemy and am very sad to have my first bad experience with Amazon although its not entirely Amazons fault but they should discontinue selling this model or brand.1 🌟 and that's because it was easy to build but very very disappointed.And I am going to see if it holds up and may even try to modify it to make legs touch ground.If it wasn't such a hassel i would return it but im just not feeling like boxing up for the second time and having my bed on the floor till i find new frame.😢😢😢😢

This is a very heavy duty frame! It is powder coated steel. Goes together very easily & looks great. Don't forget to find the plastic disks that go on the legs. They keep them from loosening & rubbing the metal. Put it together in less than 15 min. It will also come apart if you need to move often. Keep the hammer that came w/ it zip tied to the frame.

Came used. Someone probably tried to assemble it and midway said eff it.I don’t mind buying things used. I mind buying things new when it’s used. Not honest. Thus my 2 stars, otherwise a 3 1/2 stars.Anyways i kept it so eff it as well.Good for small spaces. Not high quality but if you just want something functional and not picky then it works. If you’re a perfectionist, pass it.

I bought this for a Twin XL mattress that I had, I went from a Twin XL to a Queen so I had to return this product, but I loved this product so I had to buy the same one for my new Queen mattress. I would definitely recommend any product from Zinus.**UPDATE**I really liked the Zinus Snap Standing Mattress Foundation for my Queen Mattress. It was super easy to assemble, pretty sturdy and looks good in my room. The reason why I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is because the Queen Mattress Foundation is too small for the Queen Mattress. I also bought the Queen Mattress from Zinus, so it seems odd that their own mattress wouldn't fit on their foundation. The mattress is about 2-3 inches longer and 1 inch wider than the foundation. BUT, for the price, it's a great deal and it looks and works great. I'm not happy that it is too small, but it's not something that will prevent me from using the bed or something that makes the foundation look bad. So if you are thinking about buying this, I would definitely recommend you do!

Wow,... where do I start?! ... I easily gave it 5 stars. After reviewing everything similar I noticed this platform had zero bad reviews. (Maybe a minor complaint a couple times) overall I decided to buy this one. So, nobody exaggerated, it took 15 easy minutes to snap this all together. I bought an 8inch memory foam, a 3inch gel foam and a 3-4inch pillow top. This bed is TOO good!! Seriously, we joke about that now! Also, something helpful.. we're not small people, over 400lbs combined weight. There's no transfer of motion, no shaking or wobbling when flipping sides. The mattress doesn't slide AT ALL. This may be around $50.00 - $100.00 more than similar brands and styles, it's worth it. It's the best set-up I've ever had. I've been telling anyone who listens about the best bed I just got! Also, the fabric frame cover does more than make it look good, it helps alot to keep the matress in place.

In what seems to be an Amazon tradition the shipping box was heavily ‘worn’ on arrival. But all the pieces were there and in good stead. The product assembled with ease. We sat our new bed platform inside an existing sleigh bed frame of the same size (cal king). It fit perfectly. It is sturdy and it is silent. Relatively speaking it is lightweight.This shorter sturdy steel frame replaced the box springs allowing us to lower our mattress’s height by 6 inches while keeping the appearance of the bed identical. Now the older bed frame is simply a facade. We’ve eliminated all squeaks and improved accessibility at the same time.

Easy to put together. Works as it should.
