Me encanta la narrativa y los dibujos son geniales. Mi hija adora éste libro.It is a faithful adaptation to the original Hebrew writings(before King James or Reina Valera adaptations) and the short narrative of Bereshit or Genesis, according to the Targum, Midrashim and apocryphal books such as Enoch and Yashar. I love the narrative and the drawings are great. My daughter loves this book.

A wonderful new adventure into an old story! I love the stories of the Old Testament. The themes that run through them are startling in their revelation of the human condition and God's pursuit. This Graphic novel is a great take on some of those themes. And I found that my son enjoyed picturing the story he has known for so long. He is 9 and he was also able to ask questions and make profound observations about some of the new ideas he saw as he read. For me that is high praise! Inviting kids to interact with the story of God in many different ways is a passion of mine! This book does that. It invites imagination to the table. Once imagination joins this dance - amazing things happen. The illustrations are lovely. I especially love the pictures of God creating Adam and Eve. A great read all the way around.

Story of Gods' hand in Creation on up to the birth of Abel (son of Adam & Eve) together with warrior/angels Lucifer and Michael the Archangel contesting His plans for the realm of Earth and mankind. Well-formatted for kindle and an interesting retelling that I really enjoyed (I can easily see how younger folks would be attracted to what many would consider just a comic book, but this is so much more given the subject matter).. Very good book!

It is AWESOME & it is NOT a direct clip from the actual "ACTION BIBLE" (which is a MUST for any age). The Battle Begins tells the story of creation and the fall of satan in very sound Biblical way for youngsters to understand. Highly reccomend it!!!

This depiction of the creation story weaves John 1 and Genesis 1-3 together bringing the story to life in a fresh way. I am keen to get the full action Bible in print and see how they tackle the full redemption story.

This book is a comic book form of the very basic story of the Earth’s creation and the creation of man with Adam and Eve. And it goes into the betrayal of the Devil and his trickery of Eve.There is nothing really too special about this book. It’s a good way to get your kids to read the bible and get the general ideas of what it teaches without bogging down into the exact details, verses, chapters, etc…Artwork is nice and works well with the story. Although I found the costume the Angels wearing to be very similar to the armor worn by Thor and his other gods and demi-gods in the Thor movies.It has DRM so I have to dock one point for that.

I was very, very disappointed in this book. It takes the wonderful story of the Bible, and changes it to make it a superhero adventure story. The reader loses a sense of the holiness and majesty of God. I would consider this as almost blasphemous. I would very strongly advise against using this with children (or anyone else). In fact, by making it like a superhero book, it can cause children to view the rest of the Bible as boring. Instead, they should be amazed at a simple reading of the Bible.I am a pastor, and I love teaching children. There are many good books on the market for children, such as the Ology (The Ology: Ancient Truths, Ever New), or The Biggest Story The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the GardenI am great saddened to see works like this. The Bible, properly taught, is exciting, even for children.

Biblical accuracy and attractive illustrations for children. A riveting look into Genesis and foreshadowing of God's great plan for humanity. The entire Action Bible collection is well worth the purchase, and this volume is a terrific starting point!
