Buy BLEAKTEIR Apple Pencil Nibs Writing Cover for Apple Pencil Protector Silicone Cover for Noiseless Drawing Compatible with IPencil 1&2 (Semitransparent-White): Stylus Pens - desertcart.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Great for drawing but wore out quickly - I draw a lot on my 12.9 iPad Pro. I didn’t want to get a matte screen protector because I like the image quality on the device so much. These covers are excellent for adding some drag and control while drawing. Pressure sensitivity doesn’t seem to be affected much, but I will say that after about 3 hours of drawing, I’ve already worn through my first one. Review: Amazing but I wish they lasted longer - I like the idea of this product because I find that writing on my iPad can feel very slippery and I don’t want to use a paper like screen protected because screen quality is important to me. These little covers definitely add friction and make writing on the iPad screen more comfortable. They do exactly what I bought them for and they do it well. My only issue is that the don’t last very long. I’ve gone through about 3 in a week or two. I only use my pencil on occasion for taking some notes at work or while playing dnd so I’d imagine if you are a heavy pencil user you’ll go through these very quickly.

Everyone Else Was Spot On!
I have the same story as basically every other reviewer - these tips aren't the most durable but they are an investment that I will continue to make! I do a lot of writing on my iPad (I work at a law firm during the day and go to law school at night and use my iPad for everything. Notes, annotating ebooks, briefing my cases, emails, drawing charts to illustrate estate plans, etc.) and I've made it about three weeks before I realized something has changed with my tip. It's squishier, not as precise, and the drag isn't worse but it's different. At first, I was a bit frustrated that I am going to have to change the tip again. I wouldn't be surprised if the tip change became a weekly thing. With that being said, eight tips for $11 is about $1.30 per tip and I feel like I get about that value from it so I will be included in the group of people looking for something better but happy to keep buying in the meantime. Also, the fact that this product stops the tapping noise makes it worth the money in my opinion. That is so annoying.

Great for Writing: Here’s How! Worth the buy!
I want to preface by saying that this is a great product! I bought these at the beginning of the year for my Apple Pencil and was super disappointed because I wasn’t using it correctly. I just slid the tip on and when I wrote, the tip would move and squish and make it really difficult to write legibly. NOW I AM OLDER AND WISER. I saw a video recently saying that you have to unscrew the Apple Pencil tip first, put the silicone tip on, then screw the Apple Pencil tip back on for this to work correctly. I was dumbfounded! I don’t know if it said that in the product description and I missed it or what, but upon trying out this trick for myself 🤦♀️ It worked!! I left the seller a not terrible but not great review the first time around and I feel so bad!! I just wanted to update my review and leave instructions for anyone else who might make the same mistake I did!

Makes your handwriting wobbly
So I'm not sure if I am having these issues because I have paper-like film on (So maybe it works better with regular glass protector). But the texture of the cap is not what I expected (It is way too rubbery to write with smoothly. I was expecting more of plastic-like tip.), and it makes my letters "break" in several pieces. So If I highlight a sentence, my line of highlight "breaks" into several pieces, and it forms a lot of overlaps within one highlight (if that makes sense). Overall I am so disappointed. On the bright side, it makes your note-taking very quiet!

Ripped under a week for heavy writers.
At first, I was so excited for this product because I am a student and use my iPad on a daily basis, so I wanted the tip of my Apple pen to be protected as much as possible. However, it started to wear out and the tip ripped by the end of the week. I am speaking from someone who uses this tip on tempered glass as my screen protector so I would not know the durability of it on matte surfaces. I want to keep the tip of my Apple pen as protected as possible, but if it takes me 8 weeks to get through all of them, I do not think this product is worth reinvesting in if you are a heavy writer using it on a glass surface. If each tip lasted for a couple more weeks, considering that it is thin enough to still transfer the penmanship over to the iPad, it would be more worth investing in.

Solved my problem of being noisy
Love these. Got them to avoid the clack clack in a class of the Apple pencil on the iPad Pro. These did the trick. Did not mar my glass screen protector in any way. I note that sometimes there is a bit of a skip in my script, but that may be me and I am willing to deal as it is a sometimes thing. Perfect solution to my problem! ADDENDUM - I love them but they fall off easily and I have lost 3 of them already. I’m going to start removing them and putting in a case when storing pencil on my case. Glad it came with 8 of them ;=)

They work well, store them in their case.
These Apple pencil nibs definitely quieted the Apple Pencil ‘tap dance’ on iPad sound I used to make while taking notes. But my advice is to be realistic. You can’t expect soft thin silicon to cause world peace. Because it is flexible it will become more flexible with time and high temperatures. So, if you are careless and don’t expect them get lost...move on. If you expect ‘nibs to stick like barnacles and hang onto your Apple Pencil through every kind of abuse you dish out, FOREVER...for just $13, you’ve got the wrong product. You’ve been warned. Move on if you want to blame the product for being temporary... because it is. Be prepared to loose a few if your iPad Pro goes everywhere with you, or until you realize you should store them in their case or keep extras on hand. If you use the Logitech keyboard it has a nice wrap around the pencil when it is magnetically attached and charging for added protection. Just a quick glance should save you the heartache. But, just store the in their case already...
