Downright hilarious show!
I loved ‘Dirty Jobs’ when it was airing! So, when I saw the opportunity to own the episodes I jumped at the chance. I now own all seven seasons. Mike Rowe and his crew are hilarious. The premise of Dirty Jobs is Mike Rowe basically job shadows a person (or persons) from all around the world and all 50 states. The numerous situations into which he finds himself is downright hilarious! Some examples: jobs where the person lets him operate heavy machinery without any training and the hi jinx that ensue! Jobs where the other workers (and sometimes his producer Barsky) tease/mock/berate him because he sucks at that job (episode 4)! Jobs where he is forced to spend time many many feet above the ground (episodes 5 & 14)! Jobs where we get to watch him with various animals; he is so funny you can’t help but recall the way things went for Jay Leno and an animal (episode 1 and many many more). And jobs where Mike gets really, really dirty or grossed out and how he spends the time complaining in his joke-filled way only Mike can do (episode 8)! I dare you to not laugh!

Filmed In Disgust-O-Rama!
"Dirty Jobs" really is one of the most educational and entertaining shows in television history, and Mike Rowe is a great, longsuffering host who never condescends to anyone and is always ready to get dirty. Season five contains more astonishing jobs that truly make you appreciate civilization. Some don't sound so bad, but are (e.g. "Sponge Diver", a truly scary episode), while some are exactly as bad as they sound (e.g. "Custom Meat Processor", and especially "Bug Detective", which are definitely not for those with weak stomachs). Some are less dirty than average ("Blueberry Connoisseur"), but many are definitely horrifying (learn all about lice in "Hair Fairy", and see Mike deal with a flatus problem in a confined space in "Pinsetter Mechanic") in ways you probably wouldn't have predicted."Dirty Jobs: Season 5" is a great addition to anyone's media library!

Mike Rowe is the best. He's got a dry, self-depracating humor. And Dirty jobs is a great idea. Forget the Kardashians. This is real Americans doing real work.
