Half way there
I needed a BT stereo headset for the gym. this works great for listening to music on my Htc Kaiser. the only feature that seemed not to work was fast fwd and rewind. the only drawback is that as a handsfree headset its pretty much useless. this headset would be priceless if it could be used as a stereo headset and handsfree headset. the audio quality is just too bad to use. no one could hear me and it was hard for me to hear them. i sitll use it and am very happy with it at the gym but its back to my plantronics once i leave. i may try some Bt tweaks in the PPC and see if that helps.

These work very well with my Mogul!
I purchased both these and the Jabra BT8010 to try with my Qwest Mogul. I must say that the Lubix is head and shoulders above the Jabra for me - all the functions work properly with my Mogul, while none of the extra features work on the Jabra. The sound is very good on the Lubix, and I really like the various audio enhancements - I like the "mex" setting the best. The only problem I have is that the earbuds are a little large for me, so I'm ordering a set of the Jabra eargels to try with the lubix headset. I do notice that the fit is very important to the perceived sound quality - if I hold the lubix to my ear, the bass is incredible. The Jabra BT8010 earphones just don't fit my ear properly, as my left ear is a little smaller than my right, so the phones end up pointing different directions. All in all, the Lubix works much better for me. I very carefully took the units apart and shortened the wire loop to the correct length for my head, also I redrilled the microphone hole to make the sound pickup better. After these modifications, the unit works perfectly for me.

Nice
I love these. They are awesome. They produce good sound. While not in use they hang around your neck. One thing that keeps them from being a 5 star is that the ear peices that go in the ear are a tad big. The size doesn't allow the closest fit but they don't seem to fall out so I guess it doesn't make much diference.Another thing that kept it from getting a 5 was that the adjustable strap slipped after wearing it for awhile. I have a rubberband on it now at the desired length.

Poor sound quality
The convenience of being able to wear it is great, but the sound quality is just flat. I also own a Motorola S9 stereo headset, and the sould quality of this Lubix unit doesn't come close in comparison.

Lubix Bluetooth Headset
Not bad. Sound is OK. Very convenient configuration. The only issue I have is I can't seem to get the right combo of plastic and foam earpieces so they stay in my ears.

sound dropout problem with PDA
got this headset from j&r for $40the price is OK, but the sound is kinda weak, and it gets distorted if I use bass boostI did a modification, buy Sony E818, remove the speaker unit carefully, use the cap and put it over the small ring, which is on the earpiece, then put a sponge to hold it (can be bought from ratshak), yes, the magic workedthe necklace idea is very good, both earpiece can stick together magnetically when not used can keeps the headset from fallingthe control buttons idea is also nice too, it can connect to last connected stereo device by pressing middle of volume buttonbut it has 2 problemthe battery is short: it claims having 5 hours, but the real world is 3-4 hourssound dropoff and wow/flutter problem: it appears the sound drops off every 30-45 seconds (with Dell X51v and HP HX2495b), and the sound after dropoff is like RPM turns faster on vinyl, this should not happen for digital playback, but it happensif it doesn't have sound dropoff problem, I'd give 4-4.5, I like the idea, but the sound is another story
