Bootstraps for Cowboy Boots

I use these at the top of my boots whenever I need to wear them with a tighter pair of jeans/pants. They work great! super comfortable, stay in place all day, and are large enough to go around the top of a men's western boot. Super easy to use and durable.

I needed these straps for a different purpose, and unfortunately they did not work for this. My young adult son's work requires shirt and tie professional dress, but he also needs to carry a leatherman multitool with him for various odd things. We were looking for a way he can keep the tool on hand without creating a bulge or worn spot in his slacks. Our aim was to find a band and sheath that he could wear around his ankle where the pant leg could go OVER the band and tool. The 2" width was perfect for a leatherman sheath, so that part was good. And the slim neoprene is low-profile and comfortable. But in our case we found these ankle bands to be too long - they could not wrap tightly enough around his ankle UNDER his pants. If we wrapped at the desired circumference, there was only a narrow overlap of the velcro hook end and loop end. In addition, the bands have very low strength. For pinning pants while biking, that is probably just fine, but when we attached the pocket-size multitool, which is only 8.5 oz, the whole band dragged down. Bummer. I just can't seem to find anything else for an ankle band, except for conceal carry gun holsters, which would probably not work for us either (too large and bulky).

Had to have them altered as they were made for some giant's leg but after that they work great to keep the water from shooting up my wetsuit while kiting. Good quality for the price vs the big name brands that do the same thing.

So this seems to work fine, if you have the exact right size ankle. There isn't any stretch in the product. At all. To solve this they could have made it a little longer and added more of the loop half of the velcro so that you could velcro it in different lengths. But as designed you have to have the right size ankle for the product to work, too big or too small and you are out of luck.

Works well to keep long pant leg out of bike chain when biking. Soft material and comfortable - you forget you are wearing it until someone reminds you that your pant legs are still wrapped up. Velcro closure gives some (1") adjustment. Would be good for fly fishing waders or tall winter boots.

I'm using these to hold up diabetic socks. The loose weave of these socks means they slip down. Well made quality set.

It’s okay if you are wear jeans or thicker material. Wish it was thicker and have stronger velcro.

Have used it regularly now, including through heavy snow and rain. Has held up just fine, velcro holds very firmly. Is quick and easy to put on your pants. Strongly recommend the 15 inch one for most adults, especially men. Has no problem wrapping around thick pants with multiple layers, but I can easily see the 13 inch one having issues with that. Women can probably use the 13 inch one though without much issue.
