No I have both product and purchase them at the same time I particularly like this better in which your asking is the replacement.

Q: I have red, wavy hair - will this kill the wave by making it too soft?

I don't think so. My hair has a slighy wave to it, and i haven't noticed any difference.

Q: Does this have a pleasant scent?

Yes, it is a very light, pleasant floral with slight citrus scent. I have allergies & am very sensitive to smells; this scent is one that I enjoy.

Q: Is this a substitute for Conditioner or do you use it in addition to the conditioner?

You can use it as conditioner or in addition to conditioner.
