Good value product ideal for Keto bread

Let's start why I'm only giving 4 stars ... the packaging is thin plastic and quite flimsy. It exploded when I tried to open it and I lost almost half the fibre ... it's very fine powder like talcum powder.The company was easy to deal with and brilliant and refunded me. They said this is their normal packaging. So be warned to be extra careful when opening.Now to the more important part. I used this in some keto/low carb baking. I substituted 1/3 of almonnd flour with the oat fibre when making peanut butter cookies. They turned out brilliantly ... the oat fibre gives a little bit of extra crunch.Oat fibre works similar to resistant starch ... it doesn't get digested and therefore has no calories and no carbs.Fibre is essential for our gut health.I will definitely be looking to substitute 1/3 of my. Almond flour with this in all my baking endeavours.

This oat fibre is good, finely ground, works well in a keto high fibre muffin recipe, great texture and flavour.The negatives are that it isn’t cheap and the packaging used is’t fit for purpose. Both of the bags delivered had holes in them, they are tightly packed in thin cellophane that appears to have been squashed in the envelope that were delivered in. As the product is such a fine powder, each time I touched the bag, loads of the product came shooting out all over. This included losing loads of it while trying to decant it into another container. This would work much better in a study resealable pack since even without the holes, the plastic is flimsy and not easy to keep closed between uses.

There’s so much of it, which is good!Bought this to make Keto bread and the recipe I have this works really well in it.It’s a really fine powder so does get in the air a bit when using but just stir it in the mix by hand before setting off a mad high speed on an electric whisk... think icing sugar explosion and it’s similar so just mix in a bit by hand first.

This is so useful for helping maintain a low carb diet. I use it in a variety of baking, from full keto recipes to reducing the net carbs in bread making with wheat flour. No unpleasant taste or texture effects in everything I've tried.

Love this product I bought it for an ingredient in my low carb bread the fibre content is so high it cancels out the carb content it helps make amazing bread allows plenty of moisture for softness it was delivered really quickly I would recommend this for anyone on low carb keto diet

The bomb! I made Diedre's low carb bread and it works amazingly well! Shame it's so hard to get oat fibre in the UK

It would be easier to use if it was in a tub and it's a little expensive but at least it was available to buy quickly, which it never used to be. :)
