Great kayak/pfd knife
This was delivered on time and was packaged well. I wasn’t sure about this knife by reading reviews. I am a fresh water kayak angler and wanted a good knife to attach securely to my PFD. Quality knife, sharp right out of the box straight edge and the serrated section. I really like the way the knife locks in to the sheath. The knife is secure when locked in no worries if it falling out when upside down. Easy unlock and release.

Unboxing
So I'm a knife guy... Love full tang with blades less than 4"... I carry a fixblade day to day but I don't want to attract too much attention so it needs to be smaller... The grip on this knife feels great... The metal is thick and it does not bend or flex... I'm not a fan of the tapered spine of the knife but this one is ok... Love that the tip isn't pointy... I'm not trying to stab anyone just cut things... Out of the box I shaved hair off of my leg... I can definitely foresee the case breaking very easily... Hopefully they will upgrade it soon and make it more durable... This is definitely a functional knife that can be used anywhere... If they make a more durable sheath this knife would be perfect... Again this is just the unboxing but I'm a knife guy... I'll do another review after a month or two with it

Extremely dull out of the box. Safety lock marginal.
Full disclosure: I am a fan of Gerber as their products are a great middle of the line option for me.This product fell short of my expectations. The blade is completely dull out of the box.The safety clip can jostle loose. This is a big no no in my book.

A bit disappointed
A bit disappointed. When I tried to attach the sheath to the lash tab the clip broke. The knife itself seems fine.
