Please check the cap on the male end of the hose before using
I purchased 3 of these hoses. They seem to be of very good quality and performance, except got one thing. The male end of the hose is the weak link, The first hose had a black plastic end cap, which blew apart the first time it was used. I tried super glue to fix it, but that lasted about 10 minutes. I found an old plastic hose valve which I could shut off and substituted that for the end cap. However, within a few days, the end cap on the blew out as well. Rather than waiting for the 3rd to blow out, I made a trip to the local plumbing supply house and purchased 3 brass hose end caps for $1.69 each. This seems to solve the problem. It's a bit sad when the company sells extra heavy duty soaker hoses for a premium price and finished it off with a dime store plastic cap, when for less than $2 could have had a product worth the $77.00 they charge for the hose.

Great Product.
I bought 2 of these. I waited for several weeks to make sure it was something I really wanted, and I bought the very best quality that was available. I live in Central Texas where it's HOT HOT HOT in the summer. I had re-done all the mulch beds around the backyard, and wanted some way to keep the plants alive. In some places I thought I had to double up, or circle the plant to give it enough water. I did not. Running it single length along the beds provides plenty of water. It's a thick hose, so it sits on top of the mulch, but I really like how it delivers water. My plants are super happy. I have connected 2 together, and the end of the hose gets as much water as near the hose bib. I will likely buy one or two more and irrigate the front flower/mulch beds. I am very pleased and will pay a little more to be assured such excellent quality.

Screw the ring back into the hose to stop water leak.
Got two 100 ft hose. The hose is sturdy and puts out water like it should, I suppose, but it is very stiff and hard to handle for an old lady who lives alone. One end is still curled up, but I found some garden stakes that should hold it in place. My problem is the male end connectors that attach to the water source. They spray water like a sprinkler. Sometimes you can re-position the hose and slow the water leak down--sometimes not. I am looking for a snap-lock connector so that I don't have to 'screw' the connector to the water source, which takes me forever, while I get a spray bath while trying to fix it.. Ridiculous, for this price.***.Edit 7/31/17 I've found that if I screw the ring (that is between the water connector and the hose) back INTO the hose, that the water leak will stop. O.K. Still going to get a snap/lock connector. Will up vote to 4-stars, for time being.

Nice heavy duty hose
Nice heavy duty hose. Should last a long time. The 5/8" inside diameter is just what I was looking for to make easy repairs, if needed. The only problem is getting the last 10' to lie flat! I finally discovered after many years of dealing with soaker hoses that the best way to unroll them is to use your arm like a spindle and roll it off the "reel". No kinks to worry about.

I was pretty happy prior to this as the hose was working ...
The plastic cap that came with the hose exploded while I was away. This created a large mess in my backyard, as well as failed to water the plants I needed watered. This part is all my fault but I'll post this so if someone else lands in this situation they will not try what I did. When I saw the huge mess in my backyard I shut off the water. My plants were weak from lack of water and since I spent about 4 hours precisely winding this 100ft hose around the plants that needed it I wanted to use it. I thought well I'll kink the hose and use a some zip ties to hold the kind until I get a new cap. It worked for one, one hour watering period that I monitored. During the second one hour water period the hose snapped in half and once again I had a mess. So now I have to shop for some hose repair kit or something I don't even know. Too much hassle when you pay twice the price of other products hoping to get quality and you get plastic.I was pretty happy prior to this as the hose was working well for around a month. Brass caps are about 3 bucks. If you buy this hose buy a brass cap. Don't assume an $80 hose comes with quality parts.

Works great. It can be sized with regular 5/8 in hose connectors.
It's really a normal size hose so when and if I want to cut the hose to the length I want or repair it I can put new ends on it. It's heavy duty yet does a really good job of soaking the area where it is placed. I use soaker hoses in my garden and bury them and plant just above them so the roots get the water. I use rain water and a pump to get the water from the barrels to the hose so the pressure isn't as strong as if it were coming from the hose. Despite the lesser pressure the hoses work well.

Best soaker hose I’ve ever used
These are well worth the investment. I have them snaked all over my food forest front yard. I keep them under mulch and/or landscape fabric. I can turn on one hose (with splitters) and water everything with them. The water really does reach plants at the end almost as well as right at the beginning of the hose. The ones I bought 3 years ago are still working as well as the new ones.

What an improvement!
In this area, we must keep the soil abutting the house's foundation moist to avoid serious and expensive damages. When I moved in, the previous owners had strung together in no particular order several soaker hoses varying in size from 1/2" to 3/8". Their system was inadequate and wasteful. I hoped replacing them with the Osmile hoses would resolve the issues, and they did so beautifully! No more gaps between foundation and adjacent soil. Will never buy a soaker hose at the local stores again! Taking another reviewer's advice, I let the hoses sun for quite a while after opening the package, and they were in perfect condition for following the twists and bends of my home's perimeter. With these hoses, it took only a week to completely close the perilous gap and protect the foundation.
