I didn't buy these to use in a French press. I specifically bought them to use in an oil infuser (Levo II) as was suggested by a few online video reviews of the infuser. They work really well in my situation so I'm recommending them anyway but as far as making coffee with them I wouldn't have a clue. Considering the particle size that they filtered out of my oil I'm sure coffee would be no problem whatsoever.

These filters fit my Bonjour 8 cup French press perfectly. They wrap around the base piece so the grounds don't get trapped between, better than my old filter. The mesh is a teeny bit coarser with a different weave than the original, but this was not a problem filtering the grounds. Sturdy and well made.

Looks and fits just like the Bodum screen that I was replacing.

Quality made screens with a eyelet in the middle. That being said, the eyelet is a little big for my Bialetti plunger/strainer center bolt so it takes some effort to center the screen before tightening. More importantly, the mesh of these screens is soo tight that even air gets trapped under the plunger. If you’re in a rush and force the plunger down coffee grounds will be pushed out on the sides and end up in your cup. Maybe the mesh will loosen over time/use but for now I will need to spend time/effort pushing the plunger down slowly.

I needed some extra filtration for my press and these work so well as an extra layer.

Works just fine, lots coffee glass, easy to install. Not much to say, does what it needs to do.

These actually fit. And they have a ring in the center which gives the filter more performance to keep granules out.
