Calmoseptine Ointment Tube, 4 Ounce (Pack of 3)

This ointment was recommended by my twin’s pediatrician after a really bad diaper rash and it has been the best ointment hands down! It’s a super thick consistency which I really like. It smells pleasant and does on smooth like frosting. It doesn’t rub off very easily with the diaper application and is a good price for the giant tube that you get. My babies still get diaper rashes from time to time but not super severe like the first time and they heal quickly with this product. I’ve read other reviews and came to find out it has a cooling sensation which I bet babies really like. I like it and will continue to use it on my babies.

Was given this same product in the hospital..it works great to keep my skin from breaking down..I bought it for a dear friend who 90yrs and is totally incontinent and she is so very happy with it her skin is so much better.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this ointment! I bought it after hearing great reviews, and now I understand the hype. It works wonders on irritation, redness, minor burns, and even rashes. You feel relief almost instantly after applying it — it cools, soothes, and protects the skin beautifully. I’ve used it for different things (chafing, diaper rash, and even after waxing) and it always works perfectly. A little goes a long way, and the tube lasts forever. It has a light menthol scent that feels refreshing but not strong. This is one of those products that everyone should have at home. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been taking care of my Client's who are 91 & 93 yr old sisters for 6 1/2 yrs now. They're both recently bedridden the past 2 yrs & the skin on their bottoms is very thin now, however this Ointment really helps protect them from getting bed sores and even when their skin opens up (which is rare) it helps to rapidly heal, ( I've witnessed it). I apply it every day & every time they get changed & I'm telling you IT WORKS!!! We are very pleased with this product, it is the best so far that I've found & believe me when i tell you i have went through a few different brands, none like this one!

Not sure if I spelled that right but it is very gooey coming out of the tube. First when I got this I thought it was old as it is so hard to get out of the tube and once you smear it where you need to, it is like getting grease off your fingers. You almost have to wipe them first with a paper towel then wash them. After reading other reviews, I figured out this is the consistency of this item. HOWEVER, after having a hysterectomy a year ago I got a rash "down there" and got lectured by my doctor for not coming in sooner. He gave me a prescription for some cream that did absolutely nothing. I bought this to give it a try. After finally getting some out of the tube and smearing it where needed, it did feel cool as other people commented and it did cut out the scratching. I was very surprised how it controlled itching better than a prescribed drug. I have been using this daily since I got it last week and I think the itching has just about stopped. This seems to be a perfect product for a rash or itching. It works good, it gave my fingers a great workout trying to get it out of the tube and the price was much cheaper than a prescription. Thanks for a good product. 02/12 Another update on this; saw I had a yeast infection under one breast that burned/itched like crazy. I put this on yesterday after washing myself and the redness is gone and no itching. It was nice and cool going on. Still a workout getting it out of the tube, but I found another great use for it.

Great ointment, hard to find in stores. I had initially purchased it years ago for a bedsore for an elderly family member. Healed it up very quickly. Had a little left over and when I got exposed to Poison Ivy recently - and it spread to my groin area (yeah, ouch), I quickly pull this out because the skin in the groin area is so sensitive and anything else I tried on the rash there was just making the situation worse. This actually healed the rash there in about 3-4 days - amazing. So I tried it on my ankles which were a hot mess and it took away the itch there, but the healing was going very slow. Then I tried it on my arms and I thought I was going to scream - for some reason it made the itching worse. So great for sensitive skin, not so much on "weathered" skin. It's also just about impossible to wash off your skin and forget getting it out of any clothes that it rubs against - despite washing several times in bleach and vinegar, I ended up having to throw out several pairs of socks and underwear - nothing would remove that pink stain. So just be aware of that going in. Despite that, I will always keep this on hand - it really heals.

Pregnancy is unpredictable and comes with many unwanted symptoms. At 36 weeks, I developed hives and rashes that felt more like prickly heat rashes. No matter how much ice packs and hydrocortisone cream I used, nothing worked, and I almost ruined my skin just scratching it for some relief (do not do that!). I even saw my OBGYN for atopic steroid cream! Nothing really worked. Then, I found this amazing ointment and it arrived overnight. After one application, holy cow, my world completely changed.. Yes, it looks chalky, may have a hint smell, and be slightly messy but you really can't deny the great quick results! I will be restocking this again and again since the product seems to work well for other people as well. Can't be happier!

Was recommended this cream by the pediatrician. Works immediately for mild rashes, takes a day or so to get rid of really red/bad cases, but you see the results after every diaper. Definitely want to use this when nothing else works!!!
