Great idea, not sure if it suits my needs or time.
I really like these reusable storage bags. They're great quality and I love that they're reusable. The couple of issues that I had with it was that for starters, the silicone was a bit too thick for my liking. It took up a lot of space when packing into lunches or my bag. If I were to use them for just my fridge or pantry, then they probably would have been perfect but I actually bought this to see if I could use for a backpacking trip. It seems like it'll take up too much space so I'll probably not use it for that. The only other thing that bothered me with the design is that it's a bit hard to wash and dry the bottom of the bag. They're designed in a way that the bags can stand up on their own if filled which can be useful but it takes an extra minute or two to clean and wipe down the extra areas when they flattened down. If I weren't planning on reusing these all the time, it probably wouldn't have been a problem but at the moment, I don't have that extra time to constantly take the extra couple of minutes to wash and dry. If they had been designed similarly to the standard plastic ziplock bag, it probably would have been easier to wash and less time consuming but it would have sacrificed the ability to stand up when filled. So it pretty much comes down to preference and time. Overall, I really do love these bags, I just wish they were a bit thinner and had a slightly different design to the bottom of the bag.

Good Enough
I was afraid the slide bar would just be annoying and another thing I need to store or an irritating extra step. It ended up not being a problem. I don’t mind it at all. They are genuinely leak proof. For the hell of it I fulled it with water and threw it around HAHA. No leaks. I also froze some water in the them to use as ice packs and they didn’t leak at all as it melted.Cleaning isn’t bad. Getting into the folds at the bottom as a little annoying. Turning them inside out (per the instructions) made it way easier. I just put them in the dishwasher and didn’t need to wipe it down after. The plastic stand thing to hold the bag up is soooo cheaply made and I will probably never use it. It actually even made me angry that I bought these to stop using and throwing away plastic and then they sent me this cheap plastic crap. If it was sturdy, functional and effective I wouldn’t mind because I would hold onto it and use it. BUUUTTT I won’t. It’s just going to get thrown away. Plus, everything comes wrapped in one time use plastic.I would buy them again if they didn’t come with that awful stand.

The sweet potato mummy curse of 2020
Let me tell you about these suckers. I love them. I've used them for many things, from freezing meat, to soups, to whatever I deem necessary to toss into the fridge in a bag.It is so scent proof and leak proof, that the sweet potato incident happened. Let me tell you about that. One day, I nuked up some sweet potato for my sugar gliders, and stuck it into one of these here bags. Somehow, it got lost in the depths of our fridge. Moons had passed, and I was doing a thorough clean out, unsuspecting of the horror that lay inside this bag way back. So leak proof, it didn't have a scent as it fermented and congealed in the back of my fridge, starting a little civilization of probably drunk microbes. Upon opening it... it was pure eldrich terror. The scent, kept sealed away for so long, was utterly fantastically horrible. No mere plastic bag could contain this, oh no, but this here silicone bag? Sealed shut like a mummy's vault waiting for some poor unsuspecting fool to come by and unleash it's curse? I was that fool, and the forgotten sweet potato was that curse.

Leak proof thick silicone
The bags are absolutely leak proof, made of thick durable silicone. Dishwasher safe but a bit awkward to clean and dry. It just takes a few more steps and a little more time to do it right because the dishwasher won’t remove everything. I like the idea that you are using less plastic you can freeze it or heat it.What I don’t like is the bags don’t really fit much. If you are a single person you may not have a problem. But for family left overs or family meal prep they are inadequate. If you want to store little bits, snacks or fruit maybe some left over broth they work great. The plastic bar that seals them is awkward and takes some muscle to put on and off at first I didn’t like it but I am getting used to it. If you have something that is oily or fatty or garlicky anything strongly scented or colored it will permeate the silicone and take some extra scrubbing to partially remove.

Good for storage, but not a replacement for plastic bags
This set of silicone bags with clips are well made, easy to use (the included stand helps); however, I was looking for a replacement for plastic bags. I use bags, baggies, etc. for a myriad of storage uses, not just food. I am cutting back on plastics, using cloth bags to carry and store vegetables; I was hoping to use these along the same lines. For me, they are simply too cumbersome, and even though they can be cleaned in the dishwasher, one needs to turn them inside out and they did not dry completely in my dishwasher, even with the heat cycle; I don't have a place to hang them up to dry and therefore invert a cup or glass to dry the bags over and in the winter, that sometimes does not happen overnight. I don't use them for sandwiches preferring the reusable wraps, much easier to wipe clean and dry. These will sort of stand up in the fridge, but again it takes more effort to find the right place for them in the fridge-I prefer my glass bowls with lids. So, lesson learned for me. They're a good idea and useful in some instances, but for me, not a replacement for plastic storage bags.
