Saved my Dell XPS 13 from a hinge issue
I bought this not for use as a security device but to fix an issue with my Dell XPS 13 9350. I'm not sure this will be of much use to anyone else, but if you happen to be in the same situation, this is a real laptop saver!The right side hinge of the laptop joins to a plastic lining of the laptop which in my case had snapped off. When I opened the laptop, the hinge kept trying to prise the laptop apart and snap the frame. Luckily, this is right in the same area as the security slot so I bought this anchor hoping it would stabilise the corner of the laptop frame and it has worked perfectly!! Will have to leave it in place forever now but it's tiny and not unattractive. It still fits easily within tight cases.I know this won't assist 99% of buyers but I hope it helps someone out there.

Looks good but returned
The Kensington ClickSafe® 2.0 Lock - Keyed (Non-Dell) does not work with the new Vostro 7620The Kensington ClickSafe® 2.0 Lock Dell Version - Works with the new Vostro 7620 but I cannot see it being effective. I think if I give it one good pull, it will come apart. Not sure it worth £42+

Worked a treat for me
Bought as a new laptop came with a different lock socket. Needed to use the included washer to get a secure fit, but once on it wasn’t going to come off easily.

Pointless
After a recent break-in at work, we bought one of these to test on a recently retired Dell laptop. We then asked the scrawniest person in the office to nick the laptop. It took him about a second; the cable was fine, the laptop had a little piece of plastic and a little piece of metal missing, it powered on fine, and a little bit of glue stuck the piece of plastic back on and it was hard to tell that it had been broken. Might be useful if you've got a titanium laptop case.

Perfect fit for my Dell Latitude so I can use the Kensington lock now.
