I was a little unsure if this would work or not, but it does! Now it fits a little loose (I guess so that it works with both the 20V Dewalt batteries and the M18 Milwaukee batteries), but I was able to use some of my older 18V dewalt tools that I have at my house. At one point I did have the battery come off while using the my reciprocating saw, but it was bouncing around. I was try to cut through a tree root at the time. I still think this is a better deal than paying $100 for 1 or 2 older 18V dewalt tools. I’d rather spend the money that I would normally spend on batteries and get a new Milwaukee tool that come with 2 new batteries for $150 - $250. The bottom line is that it worked with my existing M18 Milwaukee batteries. For me it was a good purchase.
