Ruffwear Bark'n Boot Liners, 2.5-2.75-Inch, Granite Gray

I used these to cover my dog's bandaged paw after surgery on her foot. She would chew on the bandage and rip it off when she was home alone but if I put the sock over the whole thing, she would leave her foot alone (even though she could easily just pull it off if she tried). Also, I don't wear shoes in the house and wipe my dogs' paws before coming in the house so it was great to put this over her bandage to keep the bandage clean while we were out. I could just pull off the dirty sock and let her walk around the house with her bandaged paw. But these are definitely meant for being boot liners because after walking around outside with this on her bandaged foot, it would eventually start to tear. But they are very durable, even to wear alone without a boot like I used them for.

I got these for my dog. She is Azores Cattle dog with 3 inch size of a paws and that is the size we use to buy her boots. But I must say that the "LARGE" size of the socks are for two fingers on my hand. I can not get these to get even half way through, not to mention the actual 3-inch part of the paw.Besides the problems with size, which can be a result of miss-advertisement, the quality of the sucks are good. So if you have a small dog before 35 lbs and with the paw size around 1 inch - these should be good.

I have the bark'n boots and they work great by themselves,when paired with the socks,they bunch up inside the boot and when running on sand they fill up really fast with it.i can only imagine how uncomfortable it was for my dog.you are better of buying some kind of baby longsocks if you insist in using liner protection along with the boots,but using by themselves seems to work bettter.

Bought these to protect my dogs legs from ice build-up around the top of her booties, but these are too short to do that. Too Bad!

My dog had an injury to her foot, so I bought her these to keep her from licking her cut. While these socks did fit her pretty well (she's about 55lbs) after about 4 hours I noticed there was already a hole in them. Good thing it I had four of them. The fit was fine, the durability, not so much.

These work great with his shoes protecting my GSD's feet. also they provide great entertainment to us and enjoyment to the dog when playing with the laser light. When I shine the light he tries to catch it and playing with socks on on a slick floor he has gotten to where he will slide across the room quite gracefully and play in the socks like a little kid sliding in general. Just can be a little worrying seeing a 4 foot tall German Shepard slide round the corner on all four at you full speed to say hello.

These work great for our dog. Put them under our Ultra Paws Dog Boots. Kept our dogs feet warm from the cold.

these socks are made good. they stay on the paws and on the leg. i got these for inserts for the dogs boots. they have NOT yet came off in the boots. they stay real good. these socks are good for inserts of dog boots if you need to fill the boot a little tighter and/or for a injured paw that you need to wrap so the dog won't tear the bandage off

Mein Rottweiler (55 kg) leckt sich schon einmal gerne die Vorderpfote im Bereich der Wolfskralle bis die Umgebung stark wund ist. Habe schon diverses versucht und viele unterschiedliche Hundeschuhe dabei verbraucht. Bei den meisten Schuhen gelang es dem Hund sogar die Hundeschuhe aufzubeißen. Auch leckte er manchmal an den Hundeschuhen so lange, dass die Wunde dann trotzdem total nass wird.Dann habe ich es mit den Ruffwear Hundesocken probiert. Es ist zwar etwas Übung notwendig die Socke anzuziehen aber diese Sitz dann perfekt und rutscht auch nicht. Darüber ziehe ich dann manchmal auch noch einen Hundeschuh. Ich weiß ja nicht wie Ruffwear es macht, aber auch wenn der Hund sehr lange an der Stelle leckt, sodass manchmal der Hundeschuh total aufgeweicht ist, bleibt die Wunde trocken. Scheinbar ist die Socke auch so verarbeitet, dass diese nicht scheuert, denn ich habe schon ähnliche Socken probiert, die dem Hund aber unangenehm waren und das Lecken sogar verstärkt haben.Mit der Ruffwear Socke ist es mir gelungen, dass die Wunde in kurzer Zeit abgeheilt war. Daher kann ich diese Socke nur empfehlen.

Nice quality but was too big for my Coton.

Bestellt wurde Größe S-M, da wir bei 64 mm Pfotenbreite die Bark'n Boots in S benötigen. Die Socken passen prima. Neben dem Vorteil, dass eine gewissere Polsterung vor allem an den Stellen, an denen der Schuh später geschnürt wird, hat uns positiv gefallen, dass durch die übergezogene Socke die Krallen in den richtigen Positionen liegen und dadurch beim Anziehen der Schuhe dort nicht verhaken können. Das Schuhanziehen geht wesentlich leichter, da der Fuß besser in den Schuh rutscht.Wenn der Schuh selbst jedoch nicht richtig fixiert werden kann, rutscht er allerdings auch deutlich leichter ab. Hier fehlt auf dem Obermaterial der Socke ein Rutschhemmer, etwa ähnlich der Gumminoppen bei Kinderlaufsocken. Deswegen nur 4 von 5 Sternen.Da unser Hund nur gelegentlich die Schuhe (und damit auch die Socken) trägt, können wir zur Haltbarkeit keine treffende Aussage machen. Das Material ist insgesamt gut und angenehm elastisch aber doch fest. Ob aber die Zehenverstärkung bei regelmäßigem Tragen auch der Reibung der Krallen standhält, werden wir vielleicht im Urlaub merken. Zu Hause ist die Tragedauer zu kurz, um den Verschleiß verlässlich einschätzen zu können.Letztlich noch der Hinweis: das Anziehen der Socken dauert. Deutlich länger als jedes Schuhanziehen, da die Socke ja richtig sitzen soll. Dies erfordert wegen der doch rauhen Ballen jeder Pfote Geduld bei Hund und Mensch.

I love ruffwear, but I find with the boot liners it only makes the ruffwear boots fall off. I don't know maybe its just my dog.

Habe mir auch die Schuhe bestellt und da mein Hund von der Pfote zwischen zwei Größen lag wurde mir gesagt solle ich das größere paar nehmen und dann die Strümpfe dazu kaufen und siehe da dank den Strümpfen passen die Schuhe wie angegossen.Die Strümpfe sind Super verarbeitet.
