Is that a red door??
I used this stuff for a car project. I was a little worried that the little can wouldn't be enough, but I barely used any. And that was after a thick two coats of paint. The stuff is super easy to use and cleans up just as easily. Some things I learned is that it does not like caulk. It will coat it, but the paint will be a different sheen then the rest. The manufacturer recommends spackle or drywall joint compound for covering screw heads or whatever. While this worked, the paint had to be touched up in a few areas over the joint compound. As far as application, I would brush on the first coat just to get good coverage. Let it dry and then roll on the second coat either thick or thin depending on your preference. It dries glossy and pretty hard, but it fit my needs and came out great. The paint is also good at covering mild imperfections and whatever on wood. It also dries pretty quickly. After I covered screw heads and filled in some chips, I probably could've gotten away without sanding. I liked the stuff so much, I've been looking for applications around the house.

Amazing product!
This did exactly what I wanted it to do. This is one coat of duratex. You can see in the photo a small imperfection on my part to fill in the countersink holes I made for the screws. I did fill those in but they weren't quite flush with the boards. I'm sure I can fill these in but in my opinion, I think I like the imperfections on it.. It stands out more in the photo than it does in person anyways.. If your one of those looking for a review of this then here you have it. The durability of this to me right now is unclear. But I think it's going to hold up very well over time. By now you should have left the review and should be on the checkout page! Thanks DuraTex!

Awesome stuff
Must be the easiest stuff in the world to work with and leaves (IMO) a very nice textured finish that doubles as a protectant (word?) for the material to which it is applied. love this stuff although it is pricey...

It’s a no-brainer!!!
I needed to re-cover an amplifier head that had a dried-out, worn tolex cover that the previous owner had painted white for whatever crazy reason. I wasn’t able to remove all the electronics because the transformer was too hard to get out due to hacked-up screws. I decided to give this stuff a try and came to the conclusion that by the time you cut and glue down any type of material you have just wasted precious time. This stuff is tougher than anything else and goes on extremely easy. It dries quickly and is super-easy to clean up. If you’re doing a speaker cab you would want a bigger roller though but for a head the little one is perfect. The quart size can will do about (5) of these heads with enough coverage. This is a great product but make sure to cover up any seams before you apply this stuff because they will show and you will have to keep building up coats to cover them. It does go on very thick. Buy it! You'll be glad you did.

Goes on easy and looks pro
This stuff worked great. Really made my speaker cabinet I built look professional and heavy duty. Will definitely use the product again. Highly recommend

THE Speaker Cabinet finish
Duratex is so easy to use. I built a couple cabinets and they turned out so well, I bought another quart to refresh some old cabinets. I even went over an old Peavey head that had ripped tolex and missing pieces. Right over the tolex, it worked perfectly.

Not as good as I thought it would be the roller that comes with it is a joke not as durable as some and did not go as far

This stuff is great,
I did a project on to speaker boxes and still had enough of the stuff left over afterwards. Dries really fast and seems really durable and it also looks like the same stuff that's on my q-bomb box. I'll post some before and afters.
