The media could not be loaded. I bought these to use on my understairs cupboard as I don't have light there.I've had a couple of push lights but was looking for motion sensor ones.These come with a separate metal strip you can glue anywhere you need them.Very adhesive and glued instantly on my cupboard ceiling.Just pop 4 AAA batteries on, put on Auto and place light on the metal strip.It's held to the metal strip by a magnet.As soon as I open the cupboard door the light comes up and is very bright which is what I was looking for. (see short video)Love the fact that you can remove from the metal strip anytime and put back again.Also has the option to be on all the time and off. Very pleased with them.

I bought these to illuminate a cupboard we don't use much. Actually the consumer unit cupboard. I thought they'd be handy in the event of a power cut due to RCDs tripping. The auto feature was a major influence on my decision to purchase.The auto mode works well initially with fresh batteries installed. It detects if it's dark and switches on when a hand is waved in front of the light. That's good, but...Unfortunately leaving the light undisturbed when switched to auto drains the 4 AAA batteries in very little time. This is with no triggering of the light at all apart from the initial couple of tests.The manufacturer claims batteries last for "over half a year" in auto mode, which is simply not true, so these lights are not as advertised. The fresh Duracell batteries I'd installed were completely drained when I tried to use the light for the first time 2 months later.So it is not practical to use these lights in auto mode unless you want to pay for new batteries every few weeks.I've installed new batteries and will have to stop using auto mode due to the running costs and terrible waste of resources.False advertising by the manufacturer here I'm afraid - do not believe the manufacturer's claims.If you are wanting to purchase these for the convenience of the auto feature, I simply cannot recommend them.Batteries in auto mode are drained in 2 months or less.

Hard to tell from an advert quite how bright any light is. These were not quite bright enough for where I wanted them, so have had to buy other magnets to re-site and replace with stronger lights. The magnets that come with these, (you are warned) are single use only. Once stuck on under the cabinet, they cannot be moved. Believe me, I tried with various glue removing ideas. Absolutely nothing wrong with them for me, they're resited and perfect. Make sure you put them in the right place first.

Having had this product for 3 months now I'm sorry to say that 2 of the 6 units I purchased are now faulty. They do not detect motion reliably or if they do only illuminate for a very brief and insuffucuiant period.

Brilliant product, and great idea if you want to add some lighting to your kitchen

The battery life is poor and when low the lights flash on and off. I have hardly used them and still the batteries quickly went low. I have used quality batteries and expected them to last longer.

These are excellent. I first bought them for my elderly parents so they could safely navigate their way around their apartment during the night. Really easy to set up, practical and efficient.I bought another set when My Mum moved into a residential care home and they helped with her orientation in her bedroom and bathroom during the night.And now we have both sets and they are brilliant at night. Bright, efficient and set at a height so that our 4 yr old sprocker can also safely negotiate her way down our long hallways overnight. With high ceilings it also saves us getting the ladders out to change lightbulbs!

Worked perfect originally. Bright, easy to install and WERE great.Now having to return. The AUTO mode flashes intermittently every 2-3 seconds and the ON mode does the exact same. After reading other reviews regarding the impact of leaving on Auto mode and batteries being drained, this appears to be the case here. Returning instead. Waste of time - look elsewhere.
