These are great. The audio quality cannot be beat. I purchased these so I could listen to my work/music, etc., but to still be able to hear my surroundings. It does work well if you are listening to the volume at a controlled level for those purposes. I am a primary caretaker for my mother, so I need to be able to hear if she needs help while I am doing my work, which requires headphones. I really love these headphones.

Quality and Peace.
Purchased this as a gift for our 8 year old granddaughter who made a habit of "barrowing" her dad's or older brother's headsets. She uses these when ever she is in car or around the house using her electronic devices. She loves them. I have listened to them and they are high quality. Provide great sound though the dynamic range and are comfortable and easy to use. She loves them and now dad and brothers happily have their own when ever they want them. They are all happy.
