Kelty Redcloud 110 Backpack

Hubby loves his new backpack. Alot of room, lightweight, lots of external pouches and a great addition to our backpacking supplies. Can't wait to do Napali Coast on Kauai with this one!

Pack is constructed well and has many good features. The waist belt, one of the most important features in my opinion, does not stay put no matter how it is adjusted. It constantly comes loose and if you are trying to keep your load secured to yourself properly, it can become rather aggravating. Mile after mile of constantly readjusting and trying to keep it tight really hampers the enjoyment of a trip. I am hoping I can modify it somehow so I can get more use out of it. That or figure out a way to swap the belt out from another pack.

Took this pack with 50lbs down the Grand Canyon and it worked great. Very comfortable for the weight I was packing. I have since purchased the 50 and the 32 for different types of hikes. Kelty fan forever...

Bought this for a kayaking and hiking expedition through the Amazon basin. The space and accessibility were exceptional. All the room for everything I needed. I suggest getting the additional rain cover. The adjustable frame is perfect for many body sizes.

I just received this yesterday, and wow! It's like a cavern inside, echo, echo..... Anyway, my friend had the 90L already, and is super pleased with it. I have many backpacks myself, and wanted to move into the new century on a positive note.I have gone through the entire system and can't wait to use it! I have a passion for things that not just perform great, but also look appealing. I purchased the green color because I don't like standing out in the mountains like a free lunch.... Being low impact is important, and this fits that concept.Todd G
