Directions?
I actually have not tasted this yet. I was looking for a recipe (none included with the item) and I checked out this purchased product on Amazon. The retailers state you cook it by using the simple 2:1 recipe; 2 cups of rice with 1 cup water and it will be done in a pretty short time. That cannot be right.Every other recipe for long grain wild rice calls for the opposite (1C rice, 2C water) and advise cooking for ~50 mins.Is there an error or is this magic rice? How cool would that be!THEIR WEBSITE STATES...For every cup of rice, cook in 3 cups of water, and for approximately 45-60 minutes (or until tender).

A better alternative to grains.
This organic wild rice should be in every pantry! It replaces grains which people who are gluten free should avoid and is a healthier choice for all people. Cook it for a long time, though, then add whatever spices you like.

So tasty!
I used these in my oxtail soup. I loved the texture and loved how it wasn’t starchy like other rice. Plus it’s so healthy! It also didn’t turn mushy in the soup. The grocery stores usually sell mixed wild rice. Which I don’t want, because it includes brown rice and etc. I would definitely buy this again.

Product listing should indicate possible allergens
The product advertises that it is non-gmo, sulfite free, etc - all good. But when I receive the package (promptly, thank you), it says it may contain peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, and wheat, all problematic for me. This ingredient alert should appear in the listing. My issue is one of intolerance and itching, not, for example, celiac, so am unsure how to proceed. Some reassurance from the manufacturer would help.
